Location nearby the Charente river and city centre. Clean and quiet. Easy parking

The swimming pool is pretty small. It should be larger to accommodate guests (only 10 sunbeds). A bit expensive (summer season rates)

Excellent location by the the river and short walk into town centre, room opened out in the garden giving excellent outlook

We are regular visitors to this hotel as it’s a great mid way stop for us when travelling through France. Lovely situation alongside the Charente. Quirky rooms and great stay if you have dogs as the gardens are perfect. It’s a short work across the old bridge into Cognac where there are a plethora of good restaurants to try.

The cabin we stayed in was cosy and unusual. It was situated in the grounds of a larger facility but away from the main buildings in pleasant surroundings. The staff were very helpful in selecting restaurants in the town.

it was a nice experience. Somewhat surprisingly given its location there were no wine glasses in the kitchenette but a minor point

The overall hotel complex is within a lovely setting and based upon my previous stays there, the room I booked BUT did not get usually is

I was told only a day or so before arrival, that the room booked was now unavailable because I had my dog with me (which I notified them of and had no problems on previous occasions)I was offered a cabin as an alternative and as I had no other options so accepted itWhen I arrived, I was told there was a supplement for the cabin. The cabin was tiny and in poor condition and shabby compared to the room I should have stayed in, so I found myself paying extra for inferior accommodation I’m afraid that after previous pleasant stays at the Quai des Pontis, this will be my lastI was also disappointed with the microwaved meal I ordered in the evening in the bar area. My meal, (both courses) arrived on a tray at the same time so the second course was cold by the time I had chance to eat it

The property was in an excellent location to explore Cognac on foot. It was great to have onsite parking and the staff were very helpful.

The bathroom of the room we stayed in had an unpleasant smell which we think was due to the fact there was no natural ventilation or extractor fan. I did feed this back on departure.

My pork come raw so couldn’t be eaten but wouldn’t give us our money back. Have been here before always been great but now the water in the pool is great and the gardens are a mess . Such a shame

We stayed here for two nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. We had a lovely welcome from the young lady on the reception (? Camille?). She was very friendly and helpful and her English was superb.We stayed in a ground floor 'lodge-style' room which was spacious and had a sofa and coffee table. The bed was enormous and the bedding and towels were good quality. The shower room was also faultless. There was an added bonus of a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Our ground floor room had a terrace leading on to the hotel grounds and lawns. The terrace was furnished with table, chairs and sun loungers and had a degree of privacy from the adjoining rooms. I think that the upper floor rooms have a balcony with table and chairs. The grounds are nicely kept and lead down onto the Charente river. Quite idyllic. Ample secure parking is available for hotel guests.Cognac town centre is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Loved this Hotel. We had a the Scandinavian lodge and it was so quirky we loved it. Good bar and excellent breakfast. Fernando in reception was lovely and so helpful and friendly when he met us on arrival and throughout our stay

Friendly check in. Lovely position and lovely looking rooms.

The room had a damp musty smell and the bath towels were very thin.

Fantastic location, easy walk to the old town, lovely grounds. Big room. Excellent shower. Easy parking.

Bed was very firm, the room was very warm, only 1 coffee pod and 1 tea bag per person.

Staff were really really nice and very helpful. We had a delay and were going to be late and they sent us all information to check in and left us the keys inside our room. Breakfast was good and the location of the property is really good.

Nothing to dislike

Good size balcony overlooking peaceful well maintained gardens. Close to Henessey tour, also 10-15 minute walk into central Cognac

Everything about the hotel is excellent. It was such a relaxing stay. The room was clean and modern with a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful garden and river. The pool was clean and quiet. The gardens overlooking the river so peaceful. The staff were all so friendly and nice. We loved it here and we will come back.

Cognac is a very beautiful city.The location of the hotel is great, on the river bank, in a quiet place, next to the embankment.Excellent breakfast, very nice people at the reception.Good room.Everything is very clean and comfortable.Good big parking.I recommend. Very cozy
