The Originals Boutique, Hôtel La Grange, Niort

Beautiful building. Lovely pool although we did not have time to swim Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. She directed us to the only restaurant within walking distance.

The room decor was a bit dark and the lighting was inadequate both in the bedroom and the bathroom.

We really like this hotel. It’s quiet, has secure outdoor parking, and the owners clearly work very hard to make it a great place to stay.

The staff were super friendly and always greeted us with a smile, helping us with anything we needed.Parking was easy — plenty of space for everyone, plus a couple of charging stations for electric cars.The pool was spotless, with great facilities around it, and you could even grab a drink and just relax by the water.

The hotel room had a slightly dated style, and a few areas could benefit from a little refresh.The pool is quite small in size, so it may feel a bit busy during the summer months. It might be more enjoyable to go at quieter times, perhaps around lunch or dinner, though I’m not completely sure.

Beautiful looking comfortable and clean facilities, attractive well kept pool area and deck with plenty of loungers , nice bar area , really good breakfast . Located just off the highway so great for a stopover but was easy to drive 10 min into town if needed

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. A lovely pool and seating area. The beds were very comfortable. A quick drive into Niort for dinner was convenient.

Breakfast did not start until 8am at the weekend. No access to the outside area until after 8am.

Super clean and well presented throughout. The pool and surround looked very attractive and clean. Friendly helpful staff and nice relaxed feel to the hotel. Immediate environment very quiet. Worth another stay.

Couldn't be helped but there was a distant hum of traffic. Bit difficult to find.

Clean and tidy. Reasonable bedroom, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Quiet. OK breakfast. The homemade cake was a nice touch. Friendly staff. Parking on site.

No chair to sit on in the bedroom. Lounge was locked off before 7.00am and only comfortable chair in a corridor outside the toilets. Garden view was a strip of grass and a hedge. It's not really a boutique hotel.

Excellent place for a stop off on the way down to Spain. Town centre is 20 mins walk away. Ideal after being in the car all day. Had a couple of relaxing drinks in the bar

This is a lovely hotel and the people are nice. It is clean and well run. The breakfast was good.

Breakfast was from 7am to 8am which is far too short for those travelling. Some of us travelled down for much of the day and needed a bit of a rest in the morning. Despite paying 11 euros for the dog, it is not allowed in any of the public spaces. If you cannot get the garden room then the dog is very isolated.The steps into the pool are a large drop and old people and children need to take care.When we first stayed at this hotel access to the sauna etc was free. It is now an extra charge and not worth it.

Location and safe parking. Staff very polite and pleasant. Quiet location

Cobwebs and a light not working. Stayed here a few times and rooms are looking a bit tired. Need more pillows on bed only one small pillow per person.
