Best Western Hotel de la Breche

The staff were warm and helpful, the rooms spacious and perfectly clean and well-decorated. Facing the beautiful Place de la Brèche was another plus for this hotel.

Bedroom and beds

A bit tired and dull in the public areas. A bit of a maze with lots of stairs to climb.

Stayed two nights in a single room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well appointed and clean, the shower was also good. The location was great, not far from bars and restaurants and I felt safe walking on my own around the town area at night. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

The room was a bit small but fine for my needs. Despite trying to lower the temperature of the air conditioning, my room was quite warm so I just ended up opening the window.

A comfortable room, nice shower and bathroom facilities. I had a very good nights sleep in a very comfortabe bed! Good central location with friendly and helpful staff. Nice continental breakfast. Good wifi

The lift was out of order. The room itself had nowhere to hang clothes and the toilet room was very small. I thought the accomodation was expensive for what it was. I had trouble finding the location via google maps. The room photos showed curtains from floor to ceiling and from wall to wall giving the impression that ther would be a nice big window area to the room, but when I drew them back a very small window was revealed giving minimal daylight! A bit dismal.

Very accommodating hotel in an interesting old town. Comfortable, clean and it has underground parking nearby- but they allowed us to park our motorbikes in their stock room!

Good easy to find central situation with huge underground car park very close by. Friendly and helpful staff which is essential for the elderly. Good shower with handrail. Comfy beds.

Our room was accessible from the lift to the first floor but then had steps so not udeal for someone with limited mobility but helpful staff made it accessible.

Excellent location and within easy walking distance from the train station. Very friendly staff. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Lot's of shops and restaurants close by.

Our room was not cleaned on the Sunday (but perhaps that was because it was Sunday) but it was not a major issue as Reception gave us clean towels.

A great hotel in the centre of Niort close to all amenities including restaurants. The hotel is a good choice for long-distance cyclists following the Velo Francette cycle route with secure overnight bicycle storage. The buffet breakfast was superb with a wide choice of good quality food including a hot offer. Reception and hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a comfortable stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this good value hotel.

There was noting we did not like.

Once we up graded the room it was nice and fully equipped with all you will need.The lobby was nicely decorated and clean.

Our first room was very small so we had to upgrade. When we went to the bar we were told they didn't have gin and tonic, I said there's gin behind you, the bar man served us the gin will an old tonic he found on shelve which unfortunately was old and flat those gins cost 20e and were not drinkable

Nothing - it’s was all good.

It was so good to be in the heart of Niort, a lovely clean town. Good shops. It was just a stopover for us so everything was just perfect for us

the breakfast was first rate - a wide variety of choices. All of the staff were really helpful

No bar and very little amenity space.It's also expensive for what turned out to be quite a basic room with breakfast not included.

Location was excellent for our visit. Breakfast was good with very helpful and pleasant waiters.

I find it hard to answer this question as unfortunately through no fault of hotel a murder and stabbing took place outside hotel during our stay which was very scary for all concerned.If this hadn’t happened I would have said there was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel for the purpose of our visit.

well I book through booking.com and I pay 91€ thinking that’s was the price but I had to pay a second time so yeah… next time I need too be more careful and understand all the things before Booking
