Located on the coast of Kiwengwa, Zanbluu Beach Hotel offers ocean and garden views. The property offers an infinity pool with views of the ocean, as well as a pool bar. Some rooms have a private swimming pool. Most rooms feature sea views and each unit is equipped with air-conditioning, a flat screen TV and a tea-and-coffee making facility. While some rooms are fitted with bath or an outdoor shower on the terrace or garden, all rooms have a private bathroom with extras such as a hairdryer and free toiletries. - This place was such a lovely hotel for us to spend the last two nights of our trip. The view of the sea as we stood at check-in was stunning. The room we chose also had a sea view and it was so nice to sit in the deck chairs looking out as the sun went down. The air con in the room was next level cold! We enjoyed the large four poster bed, walk-in shower for two and general airy vibe. Food and drinks were fairly priced for the location and the fact there is a captive market. The pool is wonderful and very clean. We borrowed for free (!) (somewhat rickety) bikes to ride to the local caves - a fun little adventure and we stopped for BBQ on the street as we cycled back afterwards.
Cons -
- A soap dish or a liquid soap dispenser on the wall would be good and a hook to hang longer clothes such as dresses on (the current hanging rail accommodates short clothes). The (local) entertainment over dinner and singing duet over breakfast wasn't really to our taste however we understand it caters to others.
