Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Zan View Hotel is located in the village of Kairo in Kiwengwa. It features a garden, a restaurant, a bar and a 24-hour front desk. The spacious rooms are equipped with local furnishings and offer sea and garden views. Each room has a shared terrace, shared outdoor furniture and mosquito nets. The restaurant serves local cuisine and drinks and cocktails are offered at the bar. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including snorkeling, wind surfing, cycling, horse riding and fishing. Zan View Hotel is about 45 minutes' drive from Zanzibar International Airport and transfers can be arranged for a surcharge.

- Quiet, private.
- What a lovely, absolutely beautiful gem of a boutique hotel! The look and design of the hotel, restaurant, pool and hang area was amazing, it gave us that African vibe we wanted. Very relaxing and chill place. Great staff and they are well organised. Yummy cocktails, and their restaurant offer tasty meals. We were really pleased with Zan View and highly recommend the place to future guests.
Cons -
- Walk to the beach is through a village where there are a lot of hustlers
- Missed hearing music in the restaurant. It was often silent, except for breakfast. It would add a vibe to the place with music involved :)
