- The staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful…explaining everything clearly
- It was a great place to stay for the night. When we first drove up we wondered what we had booked -it seemed to be on the edge of an industrial type zone and quite basic. We need not have worried at all.The room itself was 'plain' to look at (no fancy decorations or wall hangings, etc) BUT it had ALL the important things a kettle, coffee, sugar, tea, milk (yes, milk), cups, spoons, etc. It had a mini fridge. It had a wardrobe with a shelf and hangars, etc. It had an extra pillow (many haven't had so hubby was a happy lad). It has a big en-suite with a big shower and bench space above the sink, below a large mirror for toiletries (which were provided). Has a really big desk in the room which we use for spreading out all our electrical gear as well a making sandwiches, our tea/coffee etc. Lots of power points at both the desk, at each side of the bed and in the room and bathroom. Free internet worked well. And a clothing rack. And full length mirror. And a king bed. And side tables with lamps (and extra power points each side as mentioned). And black out shutters for sleeping. Room clean. As it was on the edge of town it is much better if you have a vehicle (car, motorbike, bicycle, etc). We had a rental car. There were a lot of cyclists staying and they thought it was a great location for them. Parking is onsite and outside your accoms (we were on second floor and the veranda part in front of our room looked directly down on our car.It was super quiet for sleeping. They have a restaurant onsite. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. We would stay here again if ever in this area of France.
- Very helpful staff , considering my poor French . Excellent evening meal . Would recommend to anyone . Thank you
Cons -
- The mattresses are a little firm
- Location is fine if you have transport; more challenging without perhaps to get to the old town of Vannes (which was lovely) and to restaurants, supermarkets, attractions, etc.. I would have loved to have access to a communal washing machine and dryer (that would have upped our point system to 9 points out of 10). We would stay here again though, easily!
- Nothing really , all very satisfactory

Rooms were getting a little run down and dated, but were clean and tidy. Reception area was spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
We chose a Campanile because we knew they had their own restaurant. We were arriving Sunday evening. When we arrived we were told that the restaurant was not open at the weekends. The hotel is sited a long way from the town. Nowhere to eat nearby. There is an automated Pizza machine on site, but it was empty.
Not much
Room small, lack of comfortable seating in room, restaurant closed
Lovely staff, good breakfast. The room was not the one I ordered. The carpet was dirty, the paint and plaster was peeling off. It needed a deep clean. We had visited a campanile about twenty years ago and it was delightful. This place bore no resemblance. We should have left on seeing our room.
It could have been much cleaner and more inviting. It was grubby.
Very clean and tidy, excellent breakfast choice
Unfortunately on our stay the restaurant was closed and no where near to eat out.

The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the region. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need. Cleaning was done daily. The steel sheet that lay on the roadway rattled and warned of every passing car. You won't miss anyone. Very convenient.
The parking lot markings are clearly outdated. Modern cars are much bigger than those of 30 years ago.
We liked the air conditioning cooling the room and the fresh water, which was a nice surprise to see water treated for shower (not sure if it is hotel or city). We also enjoyed the boiler in the room to make tea and/or coffee. One more thing is the 3 beds in the room which allowed a child to stay with us at no extra cost. Bed matress was firm on springs and quite good.
What we didn't like is that we asked for the keys to be taken between 3pm and 4pm, which was agreed ahead of time with property agreement, but when we got there, we had to wait until 4pm, they said it was a Booking.com response not a property response. Overall, the hotel is quite old, there are signs of rust and overcoated of painting over and over. Furniture and air-conditioning are old, which does not impact quality in our stay, but it could be for other stays. For one night, this is ok, but I would not stay a whole week there. You are quite away from the center and away from the beach. Room access is from outside, and the noise from other people walking can be heard. The air exhaust of the bathroom is not working well or at all. We had a smell of feet when we got in the room, we have the door and windows open for 2 hours. The hotel dryer was not working and we did not have dry towel until the evening.
The property is nice, simple but clean and quiet. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and went out of their way to help us which we really appreciated.

The room was private and very quiet. Staff were lovely. Black out blind made it easy to sleep. Breakfast was very good.
The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I initially booked and paid for the on the Campanile website but did not get a response. On checking with the hotel they did not have a booking, so I had to rebook on Booking.com to ensure I had somewhere to sleep.
The lodging did the job. Fairly clean with all the necessities. Free parking was was available directly out of our room door.Receptionist was very welcoming and answered all of our questions.
Lodging is located in an industrial type of area.
The restaurant and breakfast are really good, room was big and comfortable.
Not an easy access, I guess the management could explore the possibility of having a walking path to the bus stop and save 10 minutes walk with luggage
Comfortable clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast!
Somewhere to get a cold beer in the evening would be a nice addition!
The staff was very nice and helpful
The room wasn’t very clean and has bugs. Also the breakfast wasn’t good, it lacked variety and quality.
simple, clean, pet friendly. free parking on site. kettle in room. surprisingly spacious room. 7 mins drive to vannes and good base for beaches of morbihan. staff were lovely. we had a ground floor apartment that opened directly to lawn which was great for our dog
nothing much but worth knowing restaurant not open at weekends currently. also recommend checking bus timetable on sundays if relying on public transport. seemed fine otherwise
