The Originals Boutique, Hôtel La Marébaudière, Vannes

Everyone was great, from check in to check out. My only mistake was using booking.com for the reservation. Booking.com is a ripoff organization. I legitimately cancelled two other hotel reservations made through booking.com and they refused to allow me to cancel and charged me for both hotels. That is no reflection on this hotel. I had a wonderful time at this hotel. But if you're smart you'll never use booking.com to make a reservation. They can't be trusted.

Lovely room with private outside space which would be great in the summer. The breakfast was much better than usual hotel breakfasts with hot dishes and excellent choices. The location was perfect, easy walk to the old town and opposite an amazing restaurant the IODE, separate review.

Small thing - curtains at the patio doors thin voile (we were in a terrace room) so felt didn’t give privacy and let in the early light not a big issue but might be for some

Bathroom/toilet layout was different. No ventilation working in the bathroom causing everything to steam up. Expensive breakfast.

Very clean hotel. Walking distance to old city. Had secured free private parking. Amazing staff. Big shout out to Audrey!

Breakfast did not look appealing so we chose not to take it.

We were given a room that never appeared on booking.com. It definitely needs an upgrade with electrical supply still in casing like the 60s. The size was ok but the decor and furniture awful.

Loads of free parking, pleasant looking rooms and bathrooms. Sun doesn’t reach the terrace

Very thin walls and nothing between floors either, very firm and squeaky bed. Bottom of curtain had dirt and mold. Bathroom floor needs a good scrub

Great parking, loved the toom on the first floor. Convenient location, 10mn walk to the historic center. Very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast.

Very clean. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Parking. Close to the Old Town. Good bathroom.

Pillows!

The room was good. The receptionists were very good. The location and car park were very good.

The breakfast was appalling. No fresh eggs left. Scrambled eggs looked dry and old. No non gluten bread so no toast. Coffee not great. Croissants were particularly bad, very small and dry. Worst breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel. I would like the money I paid for the two breakfasts returned to me as it was totally unacceptable.

Excellent free parking, the room was clean and adequate for our 1 night stop over. We did not partake in breakfast, however the receptionist was please to provide us with fresh coffee before we departed. The hotel provides restaurant recommendations for lunch and dinner as the town has a large variety of eateries.

The reception staff were friendly and fabulous. The room was larger than most hotels. The parking was easy to access and secure at night . the location was exceptionally convenient to the old city. The breakfast was outstanding.

I couldn't fault this hotel except that airconditioning was hard to adjust airflow down .

Staff were lovely

Room was small, had to pay extra for the spa the last Logis we stayed on you didn’t, no air con in room, very noisy outside so couldn’t have window open, bed very small no coffee/tea facilities in room.

Location was great being a 15 minute walk to the old town /port. It was very quiet given it was in the town. Comfy beds. Excellent large and secure car park free of charge. We felt our motorbikes were safe there. We would stay there again.

The fire alarm going off at 4:50 am due to the night staff heating the oven.The breakfast was reasonable in terms of choice and quality but was quite expensive for what it was.The bathroom was clean and worked okay. However the toilet was set on a small raised plinth which I would imagine some elderly people with mobility issues might struggle with.

The proximity to Vannes town and port area. The staff were friendly and there was plenty choice at breakfast. Plenty parking spaces.

The room and shower room were very small. Adequate for a short stay.

Upon arrival the receptionist proposed us a map indicating restaurants and those open on a Sunday which was very helpful.

The bed our daughter slept in was squeaky which meant that everytime she moved during the night we were disturbed
