Pros +
- We really enjoyed the hotel and the restaurant within. A nice 30 minute walk to the old town along the water.
- Very comfortable rooms. Secure parking on site
- Room comfortable. The brasserie was good. When we arrived (2.30pm) there was no food available, and the nearby pub had stopped serving food. Staff very pleasant. Ambiance of reception was good, and car parking was fine
Cons -
- There was a fair gong on across the street the last night we were there so it was noisy that night.
- The espresso machines were acting up the morning we were there and it wasn’t easy to get a cup of coffee.
- See above about availability of food. Nothing else we can think of, except the value for money wasn’t great. The city itself is lovely, but we couldn’t find any brochures about it———only trips to elsewhere.

Room space, parking, location next to boats, bar, etc… breakfast quality was good, reception team very nice.
Forget the gym, not maintained at all. The breakfast ladies could be nicer, they can take example on their younger waiters and reception team who were always nice and trying to help…
The room was a great size for a couple plus two children. The sofa bed pulled out into a king size and they also provided a cot. Even with all the beds, there was still loads of space to move around. It was also great to have a separate loo from the main bathroom. The hotel let my husband store his bike in their basement. The town centre was a short drive away and the carparks are free on a Sunday. In the evening, we drove 5 minutes to the nearby village of Conleau and had some lovely food and drinks in a beautiful setting with fab staff!
There was no room service as it was Sunday and everything seems to close! Even the nearby supermarkets - I couldn't find anything to feed the kids so we went to a micro brewery at Maritime Gare a few mins away and got them some chips! The outside of the hotel is unappealing and the resteraunt and common areas could use some updating. Room was nice though.
Everyting. It is a Mercure.
The brasserie stop preparing normal hot meal at 21:30.
Good
I did not appreciate being chased by Booking.com to pay the bill which I had paid on leaving the hotel. This was due to poor communication by the desk staff. A little thought and checking would have been wise before assuming the customer had 'done a runner'.
The hotel and the staff were excellent the breakfast was very good , plenty of choice . I'm not sure if the restaurant which is attached is part of the hotel but we were disappointed with the meals we had.
The lack of a really good restaurant.
Location Good breakfast selection Within walking distance to vannes old town Good shower
Only pape cups and no glasses to drink from in bedroom Communal area tired
Location was good by the river and was a 20 min into the city center. Breakfast was buffet style offering usual continental food plus some hot food including Bacon, Sausage and Scrambled Egg.
Rooms were really comfortable. The staff was helpful. Wonderful breakfeast
nothing at all
The hotel is situated in a great area. Walking distance to the piers where the ferries to the isles depart and also close to Vannes. Very good breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, air-con. Lovely personnel. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Nothing. All great, we would stay there again.
we were in an upgraded superb room and the breakfast was terrific
we were in on the Sunday and there was no bar open or restaurant facilities open - 4 star hotel in August ????
The room was good and clean, staff very helpful.
Quite noisy from the bedroom doors banging shut throughout the building.
The staff at Reception was very nice, polite and accommodated us when we asked for a travel cot. He brought it to our room and made our stay a lot easier as a family. The room was spacious for the 4 of us and very comfortable. This was our first trip in a hotel as a family and after this positive experience, we will be happy to do it again!
The breakfast was well presented but short on some items.
No evening meal available
Restaurant very poor. We were accused by a lady with a tight haircut , who appeared to be an undermanager, of not paying for our meal. She clearly didn't check at the cash desk. When advised of the situation she RAN off to check with a colleague and then disappeared. Her colleague, who appeared to be in charge seemed to think the situation funny. When we complained on checkout the receptionist expressed some empathy and apologised but he too laughed.
The Junior Suit was lovely. I was a good size and so was the bed. The bathroom was modern and very clean.
The dining room was closed and we were told it was due to lack of staff. we only saw one person on duty at any one time, not very good for a 4 star Hotel
Good value.Clean and quiet.Friendly staff.
A bit dated (especially the bathroom). No on-site (or walkable) dining option on Sundays.
I payed for the parking
