Good location, easy acces to main roads.

Silent room, flexible and organized for my late night arrival, good surprise with a lit pellet stove on arrival (it was cold outside but warm and cozy inside the reception), and gave us the tip to visit the historical city port just a few minutes away (which was a beautiful surprise).
nothing i did not like
Reasonable price, good location for my travels, clean. Great bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very nice staff. Good breakfast.
A bit “dated”. No way of dead-bolting the door from inside. Probably very safe area, so no worries! Weird lighting in corridor… almost invisible light button… that gives you a few seconds of illumination before switching off. Not great sound insulation between rooms.
Very quiet and easy to drive around the area. Family run hotel which was very clean and staff helpful. Need to read all the information as we didn’t realise you could have meat and cheese with breakfast. Great restaurant next door but ate in saint guistan most nights. Too far to walk if you are not very fit. Need to park then walk. Great restaurants there.
Whilst the room could have a bit of an update to make best use of space, the bathroom seemed to have been done recently and was well done. Breakfast was passable, however we did not like the "canteen" feel of the service and room....very little space to cater for the number of guests there at the time.
You could order a charcuterie breakfast (which we did) or various additions like boiled eggs all for nothing extra. About a 10 minute walk to some super restaurants and the hotel wasn't far from some major roads (e.g. motorway) or local interests (e.g. Carnac Stones).
Warning. In summer do not sleep in any downstair rooms with the windows open. We were badly bitten by mosquitos
Friendly People - and a good distance (10 min) to the old City Centre
Old rooms and very soft mattresses
Breakfast was average, not really worth the money. The hotel was quiet and in a good location, we were able to walk into the harbour and the town within 20 minutes. Easy to get to main roads to go to other places of interest.
Shower head wouldn't stay up, a lot of marked silicone in the shower, shower door leaked it didn't shut properly. A nice plant screen outside the window to shield the room from the breakfast room but because it was dense it didn't let any light into the room.
Cleanliness and bedding
Staff not very friendly and old looking hotel
Clean , very comfortable and very well organised , helpful staff . Great choice of rooms. Nicely modernised. Good breakfast , good parking
From arriving in the ample car park just outside the door,to the nicely decorated room, everything was as it should be.A totally professional establishment.I particularly enjoyed having a picture of Pen Duick to look at as Eric Tabarly is a hero of mine.On a nice evening the very scenic Port St Goustan is a few minutes walk away and is worth a visit.
Nothing to dislike about the experience.
Nice, large room with big bed, plenty of hanging space, en-suite and door to small terrace with table and chairs. Lovely gardens. Friendly, helpful staff (making dinner reservations for us), breakfast available (we didn’t have it) but looked to be a good choice and overlooking garden. Well situated for walking into town (ask them to give you the short cut) as it really wasn’t far and a nice walk. Good value for money. WiFi worked well and plenty of on- site parking. Recommend Le Chaudron next door (hotel will book for you).
Bathroom a bit dated but it worked fine, plenty of hot water. Others have mentioned mosquitoes, so went prepared with anti mozzie plug ins which worked well as did see a few.
A nice walk to port de goustan along the river. Lovely garden.
Mosquitoes in the room but staff have us an electric fan which helped. Staff didn't speak any English which was difficult, long walk to railway station no taxis available.
Good, friendly reception, nice enough breakfast, OK location. Clean room.
No ventilation or airconditioning on the room, which got very warm. In addition, the room was already occupied by many mosquitoes. Mattresses were very hard. Given the quite high price, this was a rather disappointing experience.
We have stayed here many times but this time we were a NO SHOW due to travel difficulties. But this is a good hotel
Our room had good lighting and a comfortable bed. The hotel is located near a supermarket on the outskirts of town. It was easy to walk to the supermarket if the weather was fine. The information provided was in both French and English.
We booked a ground floor room but when we came to check in found they had put us on the first floor. After some argument we were given a room on the ground floor. It was small. The shower was good but for the mirror fogged up, for the first time in a while. There were no hooks in the bathroom.
Nice, clean and large enough rooms.Good breakfast, friendly staff. The garden ("park") is really beautiful.Overall, much better than one could expect from two-star hotel
