Rose Garden Hotel

I stayed at the hotel for two non-consecutive nights. On the second night, after complaining about noise from a group of travelers leaving the parking lot early the first night, they offered me the second floor suite at no extra charge. That was generous of them. The hotel is in a great location and offers convenient parking for guests. Excellent breakfast.

There is no elevator and it is inconvenient to carry luggage independently to the third floor when the guest has a disability.

This was in a great location. It is right near all the restaurants and bars. It was clean and the room was nice. We enjoyed our stay here.

The shower took a while to drain.

The staff here is very competent, friendly, and welcoming. There is free parking on-site in a secure area right next to the hotel. My wife and I stayed in Room 11 right next to reception. The room was quiet and spacious, but could have used a couple of soft chairs. The breakfast was good and typical for Albania. The location is excellent for tourists wishing to visit the mosque, cathedral,pedestrian zone and old town. There is a SPAR market close by and many bars and restaurants.

The rose garden area is pretty, but could use some attention. If you have heavy luggage, be aware there isn’t an elevator and you’ll need to climb stairs (not an issue for us).

We stayed in the Rose Garden off-season, and it was almost empty. Still, everything was excellent, the hotel is located very conveniently to visit the old part of town, we found it quickly, and were welcomed by the receptionist who opened the yard gate to park our car. The room was immaculate, the breakfast was very good, and above all, I have to point to the staff. The receptionist who welcomed us speaks excellent English, and she suggested us really good restaurant Fisi that serves local Albanian food. Also, she told us where to go if we wanted a drink or just a stroll. And lastly, the price for the night is great

A clean and cheerful room overlooking a pleasant garden. Loved the starched sheets.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Really nice shower and bathroom. Fridge, a/c, and bathroom fan all worked perfectly.The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us out with transportation and other advice. The breakfast was really nice, and we got a packed breakfast the day we had to leave extremely early.Good location too, easy walk to the main shopping, dining, and transportation areas. Yet in a very quiet neighborhood.

Comfortable and clean room in a good location. We were able to walk everywhere easily. Everyone there was very nice as well.

Great location close to walking malls, restaurants and bars. Staff so helpful, booked our trip to Valbone and return journey from Theth, stored our bags, pick up was from the hotel so all super easy thanks to the staff there. Hôtel breakfast was good and the rooms adequate. We found Stesi Travel and Tours a short walk from the hotel were also super helpful for planning the rest of our trip in Albania, highly recommended!

Great property, 5 min walk from all central activities/restaurants. The staff was great and helped organize our bus and boat transfer to Lumi i Shales. They kindly stored our luggage for us and allowed us to leave our car there when we went to Lumi i Shales. Excellent service!

Great location. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped us book our Valbone- Theth hike. They provided take-away breakfast due to our early departure and accommodated our vegetarian request. They offered lots of local suggestions for places to eat and visit. Room was large, locally stylish and very clean.

Beautiful garden and lobby, we had the cheaper rooms and they were very simple. Breakfast buffet that was good! Also good location, very close to the “bar street” and restaurants.

Beds were too soft, a water boiler but no cups. Instead of used opened bottle of shampoo they should have soap/shower cream.

Great location, on a quiet side street but close to a Spar shop, a short walk from the main bus and taxi stops in Shkoder and near to some lovely streets with restaurants and bars. Helpful staff. We were able to get a packed breakfast the day we left early to go to the mountains and to leave our main luggage at the hotel until we returned.

Our daughters' room was at the end of the corridor and in the corner, which made it a little smaller than our room.

Good location to visit the city center.Not many traffic in the street (one direction).The airco worked very good. Was needed on hot days.The garden to have breakfast.Friendly staff en they know how to make coffee in the morning ?

They have parkingplace, but it is limited to approx. 5 to 6 cars and motorbikes. So when you leave and come back end of the day, hopefully you have a spot.Also when somebody wants to leave early, you have to get up and move the car. Fill up the breakfast buffet more frequently.The curtains in the room were not functional. Lots of daylight in the early morning.

Beautiful family owned hotel in the heart of Skoder. Loved the rose garden and very friendly owner and staff. Delicious breakfast. On site parking in the courtyard. 10 minute walk to old town including the photography museum.

It would help for staff to orient guests to the old town as it can be missed.

The receptionist at the check-in was friendly and helpful by providing us tips where we can enjoy a traditional meal. Hotel also offered parking for us and has also kindly kept our car while we headed for a trekk in the alps. This was very helpful to us as it put our mind at ease. We also needed to leave early for the bus to the north, and the hotel also kindly arranged for a light breakfast to take with us given that the breakfast served at the hotel would start later. Location of the hotel is also close to all the shops so it was convenient. Would highly recommend!

Lovely comfortable boutique hotel and close walk to restaurants. Staff attentive and helpful. Loved our breakfast in the courtyard.
