- Very helpful and attentive staff. Good variety at breakfast. Excellent location for cyclists
- The location was perfect, not far away from the old city, local restaurants, and seaside. The hotel has a charm which we personally were looking for and very happy to find. Furthermore the staff were very welcoming and helpful, would highly recommend.
- ? Close to the walking street, seaside? Easy to find the parking around the hotel. Cheap fee☹️ we first got the room it was full og smoking smell. I went down and changed and got the better one with door between. The next day we woke up and again smelt the smoke in the entraine.?. It looks like for me the some from the beside room smoke at night… I eas headed and felt very bad. Because i’m allergic eitj the smoke. Then the next day i couldn’t sleep all the night!☹️ the badroom is poor. The sink is clogged, the water won’t run out. The showet is the same. We had to eait very long time before the next can use. ☹️ The wipes of air condition was broken. No fixed!☹️ The room is big enough but the furniture, bed, walls very old, it doesn’t give the customer a feeling of good hygiene ☹️ One of the towers we received on the first day was very dirty. The was no shampoo at all, we reveived 2 small packages in the next day.☹️ Breakfast is poor and looked boring. We didn’t eat on the second morning.☹️ I asked for the ice cube and the cleaning lady have me some ice on her gloves which she is using to clean the floor with the mop. She didn’t take off the gloves…☹️Cleaning is not meet the requirements! Hotel potentials: the hotel should upgrade totally. I am surely that you will have a huge number of customers. This is the best location where the hotel could be!
Cons -
- More hangers in the closet.
- The hygiene!
- When I arrived to check in, the receptionist was chatting on the phone with friends. I had to wait for her to finish her conversation. When I opened the door to the room, we were hit by a wave of heat and an indescribable smell. The room hadn't been aired out for a long time. They could have prepared the room before we arrived by airing it out and turning on the air conditioning. The cleanliness left much to be desired. In the morning, when we woke up, we had no electricity or water. We had booked two nights, but the next day we packed our bags and left.

Nothing other then a lovely staff

the location, close to the center
the room was terrible. badly furnished and noisy. the breakfast was poor.
Location is in the centre and stuff is very friendly. Room was simple and clean.Old hotel, but ok, for this price.
On the breakfast were plastic plates, glass ect. Terrible for nature and also strange for us. There are no toilets in the lobby, so when you are waiting for transfer, you have to find toilets out from the hotel...
The hotel is situated at an excellent place, between the old and the new part of the town. It's well connected by several bus lines to the train and bus station and the port. The sights and amenities are all close by, at the walking distance. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, they even allowed us to check in earlier as we arrived before scheduled time. The breakfast was OK and decent. It was quiet at night so we had no trouble sleeping. Everything was as in the photos.
The AC is rather old, a bit noisy and not very efficient. The hotel has a retro look, which we didn't mind, but some people might find off-putting.
Staff is really friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Taranto, with everything in foot range.
The room is small, the shower too small for a man of my size, I was actually not able to use it without concern about how to get out of there again. So I did not. It's dated. A lot. But OK, I guess, value is OK for the money. Rooms in Puglia are expensive, generally.
Location, in main square
Limited air condition, day we stay issues with electric power
it is in a good location.
Breakfast poor, served in plastic plates, orange juices with sedement and AC not very good.
Loved the location. Close to shops, restaurants, the mall and the old city. I’m t was ideal and easy to find. The decorations were fascinating and perfect. The room was quite spacious and well fitted out. I liked the roller shutters on the windows.
Air conditioner didn’t work properly leaving us cooking in the night. None of the staff seemed to be able or overly willing to help. Breakfast was the most inadequate to date, during our (6 month) travels
The only thing good about this hotel is the location
The mattresses were INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. The springs were so bad that the whole bed would sink in the middle. Asked for a large bed and they simply put two small beds together so there was this large gap in the middle that got larger and larger as you moved around. There were many mosquitoes, the lighting was poor and the flush on the toilet made loud noises for several minutes. The AC, when it worked, made an unbearable sound all night and there was a green light for the smoke detector that basically lit up the entire room at night...this hotel absolutely sucks and you will certainly not get good sleep. Way over-priced for what you get. You can get cheaper Airbnb nearby for MUCH BETTER quality than this hotel.
LOCATION, VERY CLEAN AND THE QUALITY OF THE STAFF
Breakfast very poor,
Unforgettable, Stellar 60s / 70s decor in lobby in pristine condition. Very nice staff, especially the gentleman who makes coffee in the morning at the perfect coffee bar.
The rooms are at the back, unrelated to the lobby in every way, with a depressing decor and lighting. The lobby makes it worthwhile. If the rooms had the style of the lobby, with authentic detail, it would be a design destination without equal.
it has a very good location, the room was clean
The air conditioner is very noisy
Excellent location in the centre of the town. Very nice and luxury building and lobby. The rooms are not that luxurious, but still ok and convenient. All the building is a very nice retro and I really liked it very much including the digital clock at the reception. Breakfast is included in price and it was ok. Good coffee and some other food as well. The breakfast was served fully in disposable plastic, not sure if this is an attempt to look good with respect to Covid19 or not to have to wash the dishes. In any case this doesn’t look good. I would prefer some retro porcelain…
Location was great
Everything seemed very old and worn down. Air-conditioning was immensely loud.Breakfast was very disappointing!! No hot water in the bath
Position of the hotel and the staff very helpful
Breakfast and the room even if spacious, furnished like in the 70'
The location was superb in the middle of the center. Everything was accessible on foot. The staff was very friendly and a surveilled car park was also available at a cost to keep your cafe during your stay.
C'era solo 1 presa di corrente libera nella stanza 112 ed era dietro un mobile sotto la TV ...Il mobilio è antiquato
Lo staff é gentile e disponibile
