Pros +
- Location, breakfast, price
- Clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, room in small guest house in old town centre, with many bars/restaurants/shops nearby.Breakfast was included in the price, but I had to leave early to catch a train, so didn't have it.
- Room was clean and the owner was super friendly and helpful. I didn't check in until 22:30 and it wasn't a problem for her at all. She served breakfast every morning and although my Italian speaking skills are limited she made a great effort to speak with me and help my improvement. I'll definitely return!
Cons -
- The room did not give me a good vibe, I was pleased that my bike was allowed in but through the windows I only saw the sky.
- The room was far too hot - I turned off the bathroom heater, but the room heater was marked 'do not touch', so I had to open the window - not sensible in January.Wifi was ok for receiving emails, but there was no connection to the web, and I had to go elsewhere to get things done. Can't comment on staff, as I never met anyone - had to phone on arrival, and the door was opened remotely.
- The set-up of this hotel is one of the quirkiest I've ever encountered anywhere. While there was communication from the proprietress in the days preceding my arrival, during which I informed her of my exact arrival time, she was not at the hotel when I arrived and was incommunicado via WhatsApp and email for a time. I stood outside the locked and bolted hotel waiting in the heat for ten minutes hoping someone would show up before finally receiving a WhatsApp message telling me that the gate and front door would be opened automatically by her and that I should then pick up from the reception desk a set of three keys for access to my room and to the hotel for the rest of my stay. These keys were a little troublesome at times during my stay but I got the hang of them eventually. The weekend I spent in Foggia was extremely hot, with maximum temperatures of 38-40°C, and the old model air-conditioner in my bedroom struggled to cool things down adequately but I managed.

Everything is wonderful room clean comfortable the reception friendly
The location of the hotel is central and is an easy fifteen minute walk from the railway station. Despite its central location, there were no problems with external noise either day or night. The complimentary breakfast provided in the adjacent former restaurant was quite satisfying and the ambience of the breakfast room was pleasant, with service provided by a very matter-of-fact lady who spoke only Italian. There was a small fridge in the bedroom stocked with complimentary bottled water also.

Price is reasonable. Good breakfast. Nice and helpful staff.
There is no soundproof at all. You can hear every sound from every room of the albergo and from the outside. Like there are no walls at all. The pillow is too big and my neck hurts after it.
Good breakfast, helpfully and friendly host.We are travelling by bikes and the host arranged the separate storage for the bikes.
Very friendly owner. Pleasant place to spend even a longer stay. Good location - close to the main attractions of the city, close to the university. Exceptional concern for cleanliness - daily cleaning of rooms. Breakfasts tasty along with their own baked goods.
Breakfasts available only typically Italian (for someone this may be sufficient, before a long day of work for us insufficient). No electric kettle - water had to be boiled in the microwave. Poor knowledge of English by the owner, but it was possible to communicate via Whatsapp :)
A lovely quaint B&B almost like a little tower, with our room tucked away at the top. Nice decor, comfortable beds, and a small but clean bathroom with plenty of hot water and towels. There are also a fridge, TV and hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was served in the Ristorante across the courtyard, there was a good choice of items and it was all fresh. Fantastic coffee made to order.
Nothing, the Albergo was small, quiet and great for our trip. Limited English spoken, but we managed, perfect for Italian speaking travellers.
I was on my way back home from Greece and since I drove a lot in the previous days and couldn't sleep enough in the ferry either, I needed a place to stop and rest going from Brindisi ferry port. I booked it literally 1h before and they were ready with the room. The communication was excellent as the owner contacted me and gave me all the instructions for a self-check-in. All went smoothly. The room and the place were exactly what i needed. I could park my bike outside the hotel in a little square that felt very safe as it is inside an LTZ (ZTL in Italian).Breakfast was included in the price. I liked the family business atmosphere and had a pleasant chat with the owner.over breakfast.I'd stay again.
The property is center of the city. You can reach whatever you want because of central position of the prosperity. Breakfast is awesome and staff is helpful all time.
Very nice place with very nice and helpful staff. The room was very small but good enough for a short stay. Very comfortable bed, everything very clean. Good communication with the owner.
It would be nice to have at least a small closet for clothes.
The staff was kind and helpful. The location was good. The room was clean and had a good view.
The elevator was out of order. The breakfast was limited. The stairs are really hard to climb it up.
Absolutely quiet, although very centrally located. Many restaurants and shops around (but almost every place is closed from 1pm to 8pm). Comfy bed. Desk and chair, e.g. to work on a computer. Small but nuce bathroom with bidet. Although I had a single room behind the door, there is enough space for several bags. Breakfast at 7am, pretty rich for Italy; breakfast place is just about 5m across the little street with pedestrian traffic only.
Air conditioner temperature is fixed ton23°C. Elevator didn't work and I am travelling on a bicycle with a lot of luggage; thus, instead of the double I booked (on the second floor), I took a single on ground floor floor. The breakfast place is in the former restaurant of the albergo, but the restaurant has been shut down about two years ago: this should be clarified in the offer at booking.com, because I anticipated to have my dinner there.
Great location!Very clean!Lovely staff!Great breakfast!
Nothing…I liked it all!
Clean and quiet! Great staff, with included breakfast!
Nothing, it was great!
The breakfast was modest but sufficient. The location is central and very convenient, 15 minutes from the train station and the bus station.
The breakfast was nicely presented and we enjoyed it .. Location was quiet but central
