Hotel Enkelana

Everything was spectacular. The room's view was amazing, the room was spacious (got the family room), breakfast was great, the location is perfect, and the staff were very helpful. Stayed there with a toddler and the staff were kind enough to take the handle off his balcony door (I was scared he'd venture out at night unattended). I would highly recommend everyone stay here when going to pogradec.

Pool is heated only when people are there which meansno people = cold pool

It's an incredible location. It's lake front and the view is amazing. Loved the cafe, and the restaurant on the water. The staff was very friendly and always willing to assist. This was my favorite place during my Albanian adventure.

The location is great and the staff are very helpful! The view from our room was also fantastic.

The Wi-Fi connection in our room was terrible. It made it very hard to use the internet so be aware if that is important to you.

Very comfortable rooms at great value for a large group. The manager and front desk staff were very helpful in getting us taxis etc and giving us recommendations.

View from balcony of city & lake was great. Very convenient for dining, banks/ ATM, groceries. Walking distance to Intercity bus station if you don't mind the hike uphill. April seems a little early for some of the activities & could not find the tourist information Centre. Weather colder than expected for spring(snow was forecast the night after I left). A great stay. Recommend location & accommodation.

Food was not wonderful

The hotel has a top location. The rooms are recently renovated, very spacious and offer an amazing view.

Food service should be improved. Breakfast could be better. We also had dinner at the restaurant, but not very tasteful. Pool facility not accessible at this time due to renovations.

The location of the hotel is amazing with a perfect lake view. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms (room No425) which had a peaceful aesthetic and a very comfortable bed. We definitely enjoyed our sleep the most

When we got in the room after announcing the exact time of our arriva approximately 4 hours in advance,l we had to wait for at least an hour until we could take off our jackets since the temperature was 6° and although we left the ac on during the night the room was very cold in the morning too. I won't even try to explain the temperature of the bathroom since it was at the other side of the room and you couldn't stand in for more than a minute.

The location was perfect, the lakeview from the bed was fantastic for the price, the room was clean and the cleaning staff was really nice and professional.

Breakfast was not bad, but very few options and every day of our 3 days stay there were the sameoptions. The view was really nice but the place was too small for all the people that were there, it turned into a crowded room more than a relaxing breakfast.

This is hotel located right on the Orchid Lake shore in Pogradec. Well situated and close to main city attractions. And that is all good things I can say about this hotel.General feeling is that Hotel Enkelana did not realised we are now in 2024 not 1990. Everything here is outdated, used and old fashioned. Reception staff, although polite, still give you a feel of raging communist time. Small lifts and corridors dull and old fashioned. In general, dusty and old look and feeling. This hotel claims that it is 4-5 star hotel, but 3 would be hard to justify. Room:Room was OK. However, cleanliness was not even up to the standards. Dirt under the bed, in the corners, limestone in the toilet. It looked like cleaning was just done on the surfaces, not properly. Disappointing. Balcony door lock did not work. Furniture was just there. Mixture of room and bar stuff. No roods to the shower, so when one was taken, whole bathroom was flooded. Food:We did have a breakfast included in the price of the room. And wat a disappointment it was. Limited and poor selection of food. Cold and weak coffee and cold tea. No butter at all. Taster probably still remember last millennium. Dirty and in general looking unsafe. Two young guys who were staffing breakfast room were just useless. No interest at all to what is going on. They decided to stay on the terrace instead risking questions from the customers. Total attitude – “ I do not give a s….t”.General:This was the most disappointing hotel we have encountered in Albania. Used, dirty, outdated. With personal attitude which I can compare to old communist time in Poland. All of them were miserable and not even showing any willingness to work. Just sad and shame.Summarising:Was a good hotel: NoWas it a good value for a money: NoWas it clean: NoWould I recommend it: NoWould I return there – No, never.

Nice breakfast. Big room with view.

We stayed at the King Suite and it clearly wasn’t properly cleaned. The shower had stains on the glass, the carpet was dirty and some hair elastics under the table was indicating that it hasn’t been cleaned before our arrival. There was forgotten medicine left on the tables which, along with the side tables, have not been cleaned. I find this completely unacceptable. As a 4 star hotel I was expecting more, I am more than unsatisfied. Do not recommend.

Breakfast was good. Our view from our balcony was amazing. The staff kind and helpful. Juren at The front desk was so helpful. Even calling our rental car company when we were concerned about some issues. He gave us some great suggestions about what to see and do.

The shower could be designed better so the water doesn’t go out onto the floor. Shower door that completely shut and/or an edge that keeps the water in.
