Located next to the pedestrian promenade of Split in the center of town, Hotel Kastel 1700 is in the south of Diocletian's Palace. It provides free Wi-Fi. It is just over a quarter mile from the ferry port, the bus and the train station. The property features an amazing sea view or a view of the Medieval square with the statue of the famous writer Marko Marulic. The outstanding location and 30 years of tradition will make your stay a pleasant one.

- The location is the best in town. Great view of the harbor and Riva.
Cons -
- Be careful going upstairs if you are over 5'4"tall. Rooms are small.
