Alternatively you can enjoy a dip in the pool, surrounded by sun beds and parasols. The hotel is provided with its own restaurant, and a huge outdoor patio where special ceremonies and events can be organized. The staff of Palazzo Rosenthal Vesuview Hotel & Resort will be always ready to assist you. A pick up service from the Leopardi Train Station on the Circumvesuviana line is available on request. • Hotel is in a quiet location away from the downtown. Bed was comfortable and room of a good size for Italy with a balcony. Included breakfast was a nice touch and the young man that made my cappuccino was sure to make it hot as I had asked for.
    • Rooms were excellent, view was lovelyY, breakfast was not great.
    • Staff was great.Restuarant was really good.Rooms and beds were comfortable.

    Cons -

    • First night no hot water and they recognized that there was a problem which was fixed fairly well the next day and completely fixed by evening. They have a multi purpose room that it often rented for large gatherings. Ask for a room away from it.
    • The hotel was too isolated for travelers without a car. The shuttle was not always available. The tub was slippery and needs a mat.
    • There's nothing not to like at this place.

Staff make you feel at home. The property is a perfect place to unwind( away from the madding crowd) with stunning views of the sea of Naples and Vesuvius.

There's nothing not to like at this place.

    Would not stay here again.

The costly shuttle was late to pick us up, the rooms were dusty, pool was cold and the food was not great.

Beautiful hotel!! Location was perfect for us as we were in Italy for our sons wedding at a nearby winery... Room was comfortable with an amazing view.. Beautiful pool area. One of the best places we've stayed in Italy.... Staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful with whatever we needed . On site restaurant was fantastic incredible food and a view of the Sea, Sorrento and Capri.. We will definitely be back!Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Only complaint I have is the pillows were uncomfortable...minor detail Wish you had a spa. A nice massage or facial would have been extra perfect

The architecture and garden grounds are world class. The diningroom staff are outstanding and after 3 days with them we felt like we had to leave friends. Food delicious too.

    Zero...nothing!

If you call yourself a pet-friendly hotel then you don’t charge 30 euro at check out. So if you have a pet DO NOT visit this hotel. The hotel is located at the suburbs of Naples on quite a large piece of property but only a small portion is used. There is a huge parking lot 100 meters from the entrance but they closed that. Resulting that parking is problematic in front of the entrence. At check in the reception took our passports but didn’t have them back (our first red flag). Not a word at all about any fees for our dog or in any communication before hand. The room was not clean, the bed was ok and the rain shower didn’t gave any water because the holes were fully carbonated. All the water was soaking trough the top. This hotel works with a kind of chip card to open the door which needed multiple attempts to get the door open. In the mean time the lights go out in 10’seconds on the hallway. Not handy if you are there if you want to get into your room. The rooms are very noisy. The lady from the reception in the morning was nice but she asked for the 30 euro. We came in a heavy discussion with the manager about the 30 euro. All kinds of excuses why he needed the money. He kept discussing it until we drove out.

Very friendly staff, especially the older man working at breakfast. Rooms big, quiet, and clean. Great balcony! Breakfast fine. Plenty of parking. The only possible negative is that it’s a bit isolated if you don’t have a car. We did have a car, so we enjoyed our stay.

When I looked at the view from my balcony and bathroom window, I could have stayed a week! Such a beautiful view to the ocean and mountains rising up from the water. Very kind staff. Gorgeous patio for breakfast!

Quiet and surrounded within a well cured garden atmosphere and enjoying splendid views of Capri Island, the Vesuvius and beyond.

    I couldn't stay longer.

Wonderful view. Old-world charm. Kind and helpful staff.

We attended a New Year's Day "special lunch", which really was a five hour long celebration with very loud music and interminable waits between courses. I'm sure the differing expectations of a New Year's day lunch were lost in translation, but a bit more clarity would have been nice. And some of the food was not properly executed; perhaps they had a bigger crowd than they were prepared for?

Lovely hotel in a quiet area. The pool was big and very refreshing. Extremely comfortable beds! Very friendly and helpful staff. La Briciola is a local Pizza restaurant in the village square which is walking distance and definitely worth a visit; lovely staff, affordable and delicious pizzas. They even made gluten free pizza for my husband.

Transport was difficult as there is no local taxi service and he had not hired a car on this trip. It felt a bit unsafe walking on the road. We were able to walk to the Leopardi train station though.

Modern and a nice pool area

Rooms a little tired. No food around pool late afternoon

The structure, the view, the staff.

The shower was not clean and the 3rd bed was uncomfortable

Breakfast was lovely ., Staff very attentive . Everyone went above their role to ensure everything was enjoyable .

Maybe… complimentary biscuits to have with the tea/coffee . Instead of packet's for shower gel, Maybe a bottle of shower gel to match the body cream? The hotel menu needs to be changed daily… rather than the same menu for a few days.As i was without car this hotel is more suitable for persons with a car. I found it enjoyable walking but if people had issues with walking about then the hotel may not be the right choice . However that said the hotel/ staff offered a very obliging shuttle to the train station. This again was above their role.

Well located for trips to ruins and Vesuvius. Excellent staff, very flexible providing transfers to/from local station. Great language skills and very welcoming. Stunning views all round

    Hotel slightly detached from village

A personalised approach. Especially Antonio who was very accommodating of all our requests.

The shower was either too hot or too cold. The menu in the restaurant was somewhat limited' .Tom was very good and spoke to the chef who cooked what we wanted.
