Looked nice and clean

Bed was missing 2 bed slats under the matress, no shampoo nor handwash, animal noises like a dog outside room at 2 am.

Brilliant staff, location and facilities. Fantastic value for money.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

The hot water didn't work and the hair dryer was awful

The location was brilliant. The staff were incredibly helpful. Francesco was fantastic and ordered taxis for us. The room was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds.

Hotel is fine

They have left my German ID card in the photocopy machine. When I asked them to post it back to Germany they said no problem, but I haven‘t received it yet (3 weeks), and they haven‘t been answering emails and the phone since then.

We only stayed one night but were very content with the room and the other facilities. There was everything we needed, the room was small, but had a nice and cozy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not famcy, but had everything we needed.

WE had to close the window at night due to traffic noise, and there was a light unpleasant smell in the bathroom.

The room was small but clean and served its purpose for an over night stay. Nice window view across piazza and canals. At night you use a different entrance to get back in the hotel. Breakfast choice was very limited. We used the bus to arrive and leave to the train station and this was conveniently located within a minutes walk in the Piazza.

From a personal point of view we probably wouldn't return to Livorno, we found it too quiet at night time, looking for somewhere to eat that suited our needs.

It was situate in city center but the zone it was very insecure,in that case the hotel was close from 9 pm and you have to use another entrance. The room was ok really small when you open the door you hit the shelf close to bed. The bathroom looks not clean, it was missing the shampoo and the water for the shower was cold.

The restaurants nearby are great.

The location (general area around it) has bad vibes. There are probably good reasons for the security precautions they are taking with the cameras and the early closing. The building smells of mold and cleaning chemicals used to clean mold.

Really lovely helpful staff, great location and room

Brilliant central location. Lovely helpful, kind staff with brilliant English. Lovely clean room with a super comfy bed and delicious aircon! Our family of 4 ( 10 and 12 year olds in comfy bunk beds) fitted in perfectly. We loved the breakfast too, lovely juices, yoghurt, fruit and nuts and delicious cakes and croissants to eat too.

The coffee maker in the bedroom seemed only to be for espressos with tiny cups and pods. I had my own tea bags I just wanted a kettle to boil. Also the sink was a teeny bit leaky.

The location is nice and quiet. You can easily get there from the train station. The room had an amazing view.The staff was very friendly.

The room was small and looked like under construction, some parts of the floor were absent, most sockets and hair dryer didn’t work, you can see mold in a shower.Maybe one floor was nice, but upper floor looks weird and unfinished.

The hotel can be easily reached on foot from Livorno railway station in around 25 minutes or by bus in 10 minutes. It is in the centre of town and offers a beautiful view of the boats. The staff are friendly and helpful. The description in one review that it has a morbid charm sums it up quite well. I liked it very much.

Very nice stay at Ariston!

Very nice staff, nice location, perfect rooms.Silvia and her staff is allways servicemindedand makes the stay at Ariston to perfect time!

The only good thing is reception staff. They are really helpful and supportive otherwise there is nothing better in this hotel... This place is just to survive few days in Livorno

The room was not clean at all.. there were many black spots on floor.. almost floor skirtings are broken. Heaters were not working at night. Shower is horrible suddenly it starts pouring cold water. Washroom lights are broken. There are alot of mosquitos during night. You won't be able to sleep peacefully. They change the towels every 3 days .. that's too bad.Don't try to change the room.. every room has its unique problems Book this property only on your risk..
