Location is great.

This Grand Old Dame is very tired. Looks like nothing has been upgraded in 20 years. Rooms are all musty and carpets are very old. Needs a major upgrade.

my rooms was not smelling fresh when i arrived ,bathrooms so outdated,no two point plugs in the rooms to charge phones ,fridge in the room not working

The views were very beautiful. The food was tasty and the boat cruise was breath taking. The hotel is also close to east beach.

It's a bit pricey for the condition of the property. Maintenance required.The bottom of the showers had mould in them and the bed mattresses was dented in that you had to sleep in the groove.My sister's room had the aircon leaking inside.Other than that, it was conveinant.

The breakfast was good. However the building is old, there are falling paint on the wall, the ceiling is falling. the bathroom tabs not working well. the Bathroom too small no space for movement even for one person. the shower doors old. the bath with old stains. the carpet very old not vacuumed, smelling. It was a bad experience in the rooms. However, their food and staff were friendly. Well receptive.

The boat, Swimming pool deck was a very good experience. I would rather book accommodation somewhere and come for Boat experience and dinning.

I called for a clothing item to be ironed, I was told one of the workers would come to the room to pick and get it done. No one pitched

The view was superb.The place was very clean and the food was great

I loved the view of our room and breakfast was yummy... We enjoyed itIt was too hot on that day we appreciated the ice cubes as well very considerateI love the place it's because and value for money I will definitely come again to visitPort Alfred is a beautiful town

Time management it was said check in time it's 2pm we got there 13:55 and we were told that our room was not cleaned yet...it would be clean in 20 minutes we waited in your pool area half past I went to check we were told that she is not done yet. We checked in at 14:45 I was not happy with that at all because we had other plans we wanted to check in and change so everything was delayed due to that. The lady that was cleaning she even forgot to put towels in our rooms but I must say your housekeeping/housekeepers I would give them 100/10 everytime we called and ask for something they will help within due time Lastly your sitting batch outside the pool. I was trying to sit at them to take pictures because your place is so beautiful as I was sitting I fell so hard and felt so embarrassed because everyone was staring at me. I was attended to a lady not sure if she was a waitress or manager and she was so kind asking me if I was okay or not... I forgot to ask her name she was very concerned about how I was feeling :)

The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. The Halyards is probably in one of the best positions in Port Alfred. Beautiful views.

The room was run down and the aircon didn't work. Bathroom was very small . Other residents were extremely noisy.

Swimming Pool was so clean. Bar Price are reasonable. Food was fresh.View was fantastic

The location is good, accessible and veey beautiful surroundings, the breakfast was excellent.

Thw room, the bed is old and the headboard was brocken, Old furniture and the carpets make a nasty smell in the room

The Noise Levels After 10pm were insane from the School Trip Guests,The Fact that rooms Don't have a Bar Fridge, Microwave in 2025 didn't give value for MoneyWhen Room 36 Changed on the TV it changed channels in our room(35)How does the hotel not have Netflix or DSTV???Staff were Excellent, Breakfast was Great, just the Actual stay was Unpleasant

The facilities need renovations, I also did not see much security personnel and we had a scare in the middle of the night when one of the visitors was screaming her lungs out, luckily the screaming stopped quickly, but were already awake and couldn't go back to see for the rest of the night.It not clear why the lady was screaming, we never got outside to check

You need to upgrade your bathrooms and also have body towels in the bathroom. Also you need have bar fridge on the rooms.

Breakfast was awesome

Rooms were boring, not all of us watching SABC, no frigde tht was a shame, no microwave, outside view is very welcoming and it is very attractive but when u get inside its disappointing, its suppose to be the top nòtch even the interior, bt it was poor and you will loose customers if you dont improve cause ppl who were there last year they did'nt booked your place bcoz of the inside enviroment plz plz improve. The BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, STAFF IS FRIENDLY, BUT THE INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS TO BE WELL MAINTAINED, EVEN SAW AMAPHELA IN THERE SO YOU ALSO NEED TO FUMIGATE THE PLACE, THE SWIMMING POOL NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF.

Infrastructure,swimming pool, amaphela, you need to place nice chairs to sit outside esp for people who have a view of the marine
