Everything was wonderful

We booked 2 singles and specified everywhere however when we arrived late at night we were given a king bed and told the staff had already gone home. Our two boys were not happy with this arrangement and it was upsetting as we even received a response confirming that our request was received and granted. We also booked garden rooms but where given upstairs rooms. The reason for the choice was the pictures that show garden and the garden chairs. Considering the heat in December we were hoping to be able to sit outside in the evenings however we couldn't as the upstairs rooms don't have a balcony. So I found the extra paid for a garden room a waste for me if I'm staying upstairs and cant enjoy the garden. There must be a clear distinction between garden view rooms and garden rooms.

Awesome staff... Perfect location..Nice and spacious rooms and bathroom...But the FOOD????Stood out for me..from the Highlander bar and the Breakfast ????Whoever is behind the kitchen must keep up the good work????♥️It was too good..ohhh not forgetting the people that decorated my room??It really exceeded my expectations..Thank you so much... I really enjoyed my stay and I am definitely coming back.

everything even to the great staff for keeping my cooler bag with baby food till we collected on the saturday on our way home

BREAKFAST WAS VERY NICE EXCEPT THAT THE HOT MEAL... BACON EGGS ETC WAS COLD AS THEY LEFT THE WARMERS OPEN SO BY THE TIME YOU GOT YOUR BREAKFAST THE FOOD WAS COLDsUPPER WAS GOOD AT THE HIGHLANDER AND STAFF VERY HELPFULL

THERE WERE NO DIRECTION SIGNS TO THE HOTEWL, SO WE DROVE AROUND LOOKING FOR THE ROAD TO GET THEREUNTILL WE THANKFULLY FOUND SOME PERSON DELIVERING A PARCEL TO A HOUSE SO WE COULD ASK FOR DIRECTIONS

Really had the feel of a family run hotel.

I’m sure there were people smoking in some of the rooms and the smell was coming into the passage and a bit into our room which was not great.

Fantastic staff. Great breakfasts. Very comfortable and new rooms. It’s a great hotel. I would stay there again in a flash. Liked that they sponsored the Easter festival and are so involved in the PA community.

WE LOVED THE BREAKFAST AND FRIENDLY STAFF.

THERE WAS NO HAIRDRYER IN ROOM.

Our Room in the Heritage House was lovely, and we were comfortable and happy.Breakfast is superb. The food selection is outstanding and delicious!We did not have Dinner at the Hotel.

Very good Breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful. only complaint was the waitron leaned across me while I was eating to clear plates.

It is also annoying to be charged for a cuppacino when coffee or tea is free. An extra charge of R35 per cuppacino seems excessive and difficult to justify.In the room The toilet and shower re in the same space facing each other with only a curtain between them which means the area around the toilet becomes wet. There is nowhere to put clothes in the bathroom other than omn the floor. The lighting above the mirror in the bathroom casts a shadow on your face making it difficult to shave or do make up.There are to few two pin charging points for mobile phones and computers

Great location and a lovely modern room. The spa treatment was also fabulous.

Breakfast was a little too simple.

We had to leave at 6:45 with breakfast only opening at 7am, i called reception explained our dilemma and we were referred to the kitchen and they arranged our breakfast to be ready and packed for us at reception at 6.45. The breakfast they packed for us was more that what we would have consumed if we had sat down for breakfast.

Absolutely nothing

We loved this hotel in Port Alfred. You could see that there is a thought behind everything. The rooms are big and very comfortable, all amenities provided. Spotlessly cleaned every day. Breakfast is exceptional with so many hot/cold dishes to choose from. The staff is excellent and always willing to do the extra mile for the guest. The location is very good, 900 meters from the beach and close to everything else. We highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful vacation in this area.

Reception staff are friendly and food is good.

Tray charge for room service is too expensive. Very irritating to pay so much and then find that the waiter forgot to bring sugar for my cappuccino and promises to quickly bring it. But never came back. Unacceptable

Just the calmness of the location

The Food offered at Valentines Dinner was not good at all all menus from starters to the mains were so Bad Also your TV unit at the rooms are not user friendly at all i left without watching the TV .Second day room was not cleaned properly we found the dust bean and wine bottles we were using previous night still in our room , the Fridge was not working !Last i paid extra money for decorating the room with little bit valentines colours and items i can’t remember seeing it ?I hope the service can be better
