The Vineyard Country House

We had such a lovely stay. The guest house is very central, but in a quiet street, so we could walk everywhere. The bed was sooooo comfortable and we will definitely return in summer, when we can take advantage of the fabulous swimming pool. We were met by Henk, who was really friendly. We also met Sandra the next morning who prepared a stunning breakfast for us and was such a warm, beautiful person.

There isn't anything I can fault.

Charming property in an equally charming town. Huge, comfy rooms, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.

The friendliness by Estelle, the owner upon arrival most welcome. Breakfast prepared by Estelle, together with one of her team members, Sandra, was delicious. The attention to detail and the presentation pleasing. The yoghurt twirls topped with fresh cherries and the fresh miniscule fruit pieces; the scrumptious hot breakfast and fresh banana loaf indeed a wonderful start to the day, and definitely an enticement to return. The lounge outside the breakfast room, a great place to relax and curl up with a novel. Elegant interior decorating in the bedroom, and the bed extremely comfortable, whilst the Egyptian cotton towels soft and luxurious. The patio outside the bedroom, comfortable and a wonderful way to spend a lazy afternoon whilst overlooking the vineyard. Walked to and from dinner and we felt extremely safe.

Everything was perfect.

Safe, Clean, Well Positioned and Great Hosts!

This is our second visit to the vinyard country house.It was as last time exceptional. Estelle and the staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms and the grounds are pristine and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was delicious. The whole stay was a delight. We will definitely be returning.

An dream two days! Everything was just lovely! The host, the staff, the room, the breakfast, the pool, the atmosphere was all just excellent. Estelle was so nice, warm and welcoming, advised us on where to eat and booked us a restaurant. The breakfast setting was lovely, the food was exceptional and the staff were absolutely brilliant too. We were so sad to only stay two nights here!The attention to detail in the room was a lovely touch too with fresh milk, filtered water, coffee and rusks, small first aid kit and so much info on the town/restaurants/shops etc. Just excellent!

The host is communicative and friendly, the breakfast was very good. An ideal last stop coming down Route 62 with a beautiful view onto the Langeberg Mountain Range .

The noisy refrigerator in the room , but we eventually fell asleep.

It was close to the central street, in a very nice town. The breakfast was nice, and the garden was well maintained. The owner was really nice, and communicative. We did have a room adjacent to the breakfast area, so we did wake up to the sound and smell of breakfast, which might be something to consider. Also, we imagined to try the wine from the vineyard, but that is not possible as they outsource their grapes to other manufacturers.

there was a bit of traffic noise from the road but the advantage of being centrally situated in the town outweighed this little discomfort.

Great hosts, who were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, with perfect little terrace looking up to the mountains.

Excellent cooked breakfast in a pavilion in the vineyard, promptly brought to us without the interminable wait which sometimes occurs elsewhere. A big thank you to the proprietor's husband who kindly fixed my rollator so that I could use it as a walking aid

Shower did not have enough handholds for somebody a bit wobbly on their pins (like me)

We stayed one night only, but we had a good time. The place is really nice, relaxing, with a lot of green around. Estelle and her husband great hosts.The breakfast was also delicious! Recommended :)

The room and bathroom were nice as was rage outside area. Very good breakfast and friendly owners and helpful staff.

There was no aircon, only a fan.

Fantastic location, very clean and well maintained, safe and secure. Very friendly staff. Rooms impeccable and spotless with nice extras like a box containing objects I may have forgotten like painkillers, cutex etc. lovely swimming pool in the vineyards. The town is also very pretty and worth a visit. Great value

The mountain view room is beautiful. It has everything you need, it is very clean, and you have complete privacy. The swimming pool was crystal clear, and the owners were very helpful.

Well positioned in middle of town and very nicely arranged room plus magnificent view of the mountains

Breakfast toast should be cooked in a toaster not fried in a pan
