Pros +
- Excellent meals at the restaurant. Great room - I think we may have been upgraded. The heated bathroom floor was a treat for cooler weather. Very pleasant and helpful people throughout. Was so impressed, they washed our car in the morning without being asked to! Nice touch as it had gotten dusty / full of bugs en route.
- Room overlooking the pool was wonderful as was the very helpful staff. They even washed our car which was very dusty!
- Such a beautiful hotel! Everything was perfect – stylish, comfortable, super clean, and in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!
Cons -
- Restaurant food was not as we would have liked
- Not a thing.
- Our room was next to the bar and there was a soundtrack on a loop constantly, even when the bar was empty. We asked for it to be turned off but it kept being turned on again

Room was really comfortable, had not slept so well in a long time. All the extra touches were great as was the personalised service. The breakfast was awesome too and they even washed my car.
Not a thing.
A stunning little hotel with great rooms and great food. Beautiful pools and excellent spa.
Friendly staff, taste full facilities and food
Historic house converted to hotel in residential area of Robertson. Lovely big veranda and well tended gardens
Our room was next to the bar and there was a soundtrack on a loop constantly, even when the bar was empty. We asked for it to be turned off but it kept being turned on again
The Roberson Small Hotel & Spa was amazing. The property is breathtaking and the friendly staff made our stay extra special. I would like to mention Elizabeth one of the staff members, her special attention to client experience and her willingness to help was exceptional. We definitely plan on coming back to this property
A lovely little place to explore the wine farms. Large comfortable room.Lovely breakfast and great service in restaurant and bar.
Not sure we were in the room we booked as it was up stairs.Housekeeping need to pay attention as we were left with only 1 towel one day.
A proper country escape. Nice room. Good food. Excellent attentive staff
The staff were very friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable
The photos of the rooms are misleading as they group different room types together. We were told this was down to booking.com not the hotel, so be aware. Superior suite is a stable suite, king suite is a pool suite
Peaceful location. Secure parking. Excellent staff. Very good food. Comfortable room. Beautiful setting and garden.
This is an amazing hotel. We have stayed before (and in the same room!) and have decided it will be a definite for every visit we make to South Africa. A wonderful place to chill in a variety of places and the pools are a bonus. Loved the food as well as the complimentary tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon.
Absolutely nothing - apart from not being able to stay for more than one night this time.
fantastic little estate, very nice villa, wonderful garden, stylish and tasteful and spacious rooms (almost suites) with direct access to the pool right in front of the veranda, good food, all in all a fantastic stay!
We liked everything except for the breakfast and dinner diversity and presentation. I compare this with other 5 star establishments and hence know what I'm talking about. What was annoying was I ordered 2 different red wines, and both were out of stock. They had not been replenished in time. On a very positive note, was that we met a trainee, Chante Lakey, who treated us and served us exceptionally well. When we arrived for breakfast the first morning, she came us, introduced herself, and said she is a trainee. We have never experienced that before. We are convinced Chante will - with further guidance - developed to a superb service ambassador. We wish her all the very best for her future.
All said above.
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We had a pool room which was really nice. Lovely to be able to jump in the pool from the room deck. The food was really good and plentiful. Would definitely recommend.
Friendly staff, clean rooms and setting but not worth the amount of money we, as locals, had to pay per night.
The food is extremely expensive for what you get and the continental breakfast was not up to a 5-star standard. If I compare them with our stay at Botlierskop and Penhill, I will have to say the food was dismal.
Well appointed room with direct access to the pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful meals.
Amazing Hotel in Robertson, super friendly staff und beautiful rooms.
Breakfast was superb! Staff very friendly and helpful. Great pool in front of rooms!
