    Pros +

    • The breakfast was great! The location was amazing. The bed was really good, very clean and comfortable. The rooms were old but super clean and well put together. The staff such as the cleaning lady and the breakfast ladies were very, very nice. The person at the front desk was nice too, given my inability to speak Italian (sorry). The view of the river and walking path was really nice. There is no trouble sleeping through the night if you are in the end rooms, not near the elevator maybe.
    • Staff was more than friendly and willing to help us with accommodation for extra pillows, cleaning baby bottles and spoons.
    • The staff and the included breakfast were fantastic. Also really enjoyed all the art in the lobby. Easy access to the train station to get into Florence in 20 min

    Cons -

    • The bathroom was really difficult. I arrived after 36 hours of travel so had to have a shower. I thought maybe there would be shampoo but there was not. There was a hand soap/body soap though, which is better than nothing. There were no shower curtains or shower screens, so water went everywhere. It was unlucky, because everything else was good.Mind you, I think single rooms are designed differently to rooms with bigger beds, so maybe that's why the bathroom was not great.
    • Worst hotel bed ever. I felt like I was sleeping on a concrete block. This was my first stay with an Art Hotel so I hope this one was just overdue for a renovation.
    • First room had a terrible odor---I requested a change and they gave it.....and said it was an upgrade, although when booked the hotel ---I had booked a king size bed.---

The staff were supportive & the location was good

No iron, no drinking water in the room and no tissue paper

The hotel is very accessible to almost all transportation. The sound of the river cascading is so relaxing. They even gave me parking permit through out my entire stay. They are very good in reminding you about the street cleaning so your car doesn't get towed. The staff are very helpful l, and cheerful. From front desk, to breakfast wait staff to housekeeping. Love the buffet breakfast too.

The noise outside since my room is facing the street. But that is not their fault.

Very nice hotel enterior, and the stunning view from the hotel room on the fifth floor. You can literaly hear the sound of river. The hotel stuff is very pleasent and helpful for any tip needed. The breakfast is great. You have parking in front of the hotel. Location is also great, you are just few minutes walk from the city centar. Prato is beatuful town and very chearfull and live during the day and night.

The elevator can be busy sometimes, usually during breakfast, you need to wait couple minutes, then we used the stairs.

The breakfast was varied and catered to all tastes — anyone could find something they liked. The best part was the oven where you could bake your own bread and enjoy it warm. The location was very close to the center of Prato, and in just 15 minutes by train, you could be in Florence. The view of the river was quite interesting.

However, the bathroom had no lock, which made it feel less private. There were a lot of mosquitoes, possibly coming from the river. The door key had a large decorative ball attached to it, making it difficult to carry in your pocket. The Wi-Fi code wasn’t in the room — I had to go down to the reception to ask for it.

Good location and friendly staff Nice breakfast

Beds are like concrete since the revocations took place.Again the AC / Heaters in the room blow hot when you want it cold in summer and cold when you want it hot in winter. 4th time at the hotel and it’s not just one room that this happens. As a result I will be staying elsewhere now when possible.

    5ShecklefordPosted on: 3-17-2025

It was super clean, bed linen crisp and fresh.

I was a bit surprised that for nearly 70€ breakfast was not included I had to pay and additional 9€ for what in other hotels nearby in which I have stayed, was included in a much lower price.

This property has a great breakfast and everything you need to start your day. It’s a short walk to the train station and you can expand your travel to Florence in as little as 20 minutes by train.

The breakfast hours are limited, ending by 0930, early in my point of view

    9JanosPosted on: 2-17-2025

Very good location between the train station and the walled city centreBreakfast is very good, not only typical Italian but really everything and good tasteStaff was very nice and attentive (I have to mention the cleaning lady who was responsible for my room, she is extra super person)

Bed was too hard for me, first night I had pain in my back muscles after a few hours, Second day was better (I am very heavy, this is my fault)

    9AlexandrePosted on: 1-22-2025

Walking distance to the central station and to the city center, with nice restaurants nearby. Free parking available and pet friendly, our dogs were very welcome there. The hotel lobby looks beautiful, the breakfast was good and the rooms were spacious. It took has about 30 min to get to Florence, by public transportation, and cost less than 4€ per person.

The shower box is very small.

    8PatriciaPosted on: 1-12-2025

    Clean and comfortable

It was very cold in the room the day of arrival and there wa no blanket or duvet on the bed, on,y a summer bedcover. I took the spare blanket from the top of the cabinet

Never want to see a hotel like this again

Not only were the rooms small and the facilities outdated, but the hygiene was astonishing and unbearably dirty. This is the worst hotel we've had in all of Europe.

    6DenizPosted on: 12-13-2024

    Location, breakfast, cleanless

Bathroom was without shower curtain or screen. There was no quilt but only a light blanket, pillow was very hard. Room was too small.

    room was very small

    8IsaPosted on: 11-17-2024

The rooms are clean and breakfast wonderful

The bathroom and some parts of the hotel have strong metan gases, I tried to pay breakfast price many times but the receptionist said my colleague will come and please pay later , at the third day I said I couldn’t wait your colleague and at the end of the accommodation I could pay. You can put some coffee or tea to the rooms and some equipment to boil the water.
