I rang to say ,due to late flight arrival and car ferry etc we wouldn't arrive til 10.30pm Was there any chance of a simple meal when we got there. They produced delicious salmon and chips and welcomed us warmly.
The room was extremely hot and impossible to alter but this was definitely better than being cold.
The location is nice, and people are friendly
The restaurant is not at the level of the hotel
The service, location and breakfast included exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend this hotel!!!
> Staff were friendly, welcoming, and proactively helpful> Breakfast was good with a variety of choices available> Hotel is in a good location within walking distance of the city centre
> Room had an odour of staleness (although you do get used to it)> Water in the shower did not get very hot
Very friendly staff, clean, nice linens, good restaurant
Really nice, welcoming staff. Easy to park. Lovely garden and the dining room has nice views. We ate there one night and the food and wine were good and not overpriced. Liked the location as a short walk up to the mirador. Nice pizza restaurant with good views up there.
It is dated but it’s very comfortable and the location is lovely.
Ubication and very friendly and helpful staff.
No coffee maker , no water to drink, no fridge, room was very small.
Nothing, it was dark and unclean and was not easy to find.
The room was small, dark and dirty, we returned to reception saying we didn’t want to stay and they still charged full price, I know it’s policy but was surprised.
good position
no hot water and tired looking
The hotel were able to provide a breakfast for us at 6.15am as we had to leave early to catch the ferry.
The prices quoted by booking.com varied. The first screen said price included all taxes and the second said it didn’t. The price DID NOT included taxes unless you paid in cash using American dollars, which as British tourists we did not have. Therefore we had to pay an extra 19%.
Really great location with great views of the bay.
Living on the views . Hotel is dark poor lighting. Rooms small and dark. Could do with an update. No hot water 2 nights and wedding disco untill 4am.
Stunning location in an otherwise not so nice city. Beautiful lodge, very rustic. Rooms are a bit outdated but fits the setting. Very helpful staff.
Rooms are a bit outdated, could use a refresher. We were there in January, peak summer yet the heating was on and could not be turned off. Even with the window fully open it was quite warm...
charming, near the water, walking distance to restaurants, lots of parking in a city that’s so hard to park on, best breakfast selection out of all of our stays in chile, comfortable bed , staff was great
the rooms are dark and could use updating, a patio door would be so nice considering these rooms are right in the water or at least a bigger window, no ac and couldn’t turn the heater off so had to sleep with the window open on ground level not ideal if you’re a hot sleeper like I am
Very quiet, parking on premises, good breakfast
Dining room and lobby were beautiful
The bedroom was so small that it barely fit the two twin beds. There was no room for our suitcases
staff friendly and the hotel has charachter.
more staff and better communication
Truthfully, I didn't much like Ancud - and the hotel was like all the rest of it: kind of uninspiring. The room was small and cramped. The shower head was starting to separate from the hose, so half the water spayed everywhere but through the shower head. The breakfast was decent - nothing special but OK.
