    Pros +

    • Position, staff very good level.
    • Gem of a historic hotel. We had last stayed here in 2007 and it has been refreshed and now has a little gym and a bar that serves light dinner. We had a beautiful suite overlooking the main square.
    • In the heart of town. The friendly staff were wonderfully helpful.

    Cons -

    • Old, breakfast was not really special, gym is not always available, open too late in the morning
    • The parking was very tight but thankfully the hotel staff were always on hand to help.
    • The rooms are a little dated, but still comfortable and clean.

Best location, quality furnishings, good heating system.

Old-fashioned room layout requires some bags be opened on the floor. Counter space is unusually scarce.

The history of this building. Right in the heart of the city center, many many places are in an easy walk from the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It is an old world style hotel with old world decor.

If you are driving with a car, getting to the hotel through the ZTL is a bit tricky, so be sure to ask for specific directions.

It was in the center, location was great and the authenticity was very nice to see.

Room was next to the elevator and it was loud and hard to sleep

The hotel is located in the very heart of elegant Reggio Emilia. It is stylish and furnished with a typical Italian taste. The staff at the reception are extremely kind and helpful. I was given a spacious studio on the uppermost floor of the building. The bed was huge and comfortable. If I come back to Reggio Emilia, I would definitely choose again Hotel Posta. Thanks for everything!

Comfortable bright rooms with useful small separate sitting room between bedroom and bathroom

Booked a hotel for 3 nights because of business trip in Reggio Emilia. My room was booked without breakfast as I was not sure that they serve gluten free breakfasts. At the hotel I paid 11 euro for breakfast and there is a good choice for people with gluten intolerance. New towels were changed every day. The staff is pleasant. Hotel is in the centre of the town so it was comfortable to go everywhere by walk. The railway station is 15 minutes by walk.

    Everything was okay.

The location of this hotel is very nice and in the middle of the city. Great is that hotel also provided parking for our car. Staff is nice and friendly, breakfast very good with a lot of variety typical dishes. Hotel was totally booked when arriving, lucky we got last three available rooms for our stay. All perfect and professional so I give 10/10! Recommended!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel exudes an old world charm, without feeling rundown or shabby. The property was very well maintained and spotless. The bed was comfy. The location was ideal for exploring the town.Parking was secure and convenient on site.

nice historic hotel on historic Via Emilia. Accommodating, helpful and nice staff. Classic complete breakfast with a rich selection. Small parking lot, but the staff can park many cars there. Newly opened bar with hot food. Let you show the Sala del Capitano, a wonderful historic hall for mass events.

It’s a palazzo in the heart of Reggio Emilia city. It is well maintained and generally eccentric.

    It was all charming

Central spot, nice personel, breakfast ok.

Would be nice to know beforehand that your car key must be given at the reception. Parking spots are very small.

The staff was very kind, helpful, accommodating and their English was very good. They upgraded our room to a king size bed that was very nice and the room looked out onto the piazza. The view, king size bed, kind staff and the parking garage made our trip very comfortable. Somehow I missed that parking was $15 a day, so I was unhappy about the last minute additional fees, but let me tell you, I was so grateful for the attached parking garage with service to have the car ready when needed. A great service!!!!!They offer breakfast but we didn’t get to try it. We did however have a light dinner in the bar on a rainy night. We each got the minestrone soup, delicious, and we shared a saffron risotto, also delicious. The water pressure in the shower was very good, but the cold water in the bathroom sink trickled out. They bed with extra pillows and good sheets was very comfortable. The hotel has a long history itself and it’s surrounded by wonderful buildings, shopping, restaurants, piazzas and a great location in between Parma and Modena. However, we found everything we wanted right here, plus a fantastic Reggio Emilia cheese and balsamic tour too, so we never went elsewhere. It was a nice relaxing, slow paced, lots of locals, very few tourists in this beautiful historic town … and the view from our room was fantastic!

The style is old Italian, which we are in Italy and goes with the building, but it did feel tired.

This hotel is one of the oldest in Italy and is situated in an amazing building with an interesting history. It is amazing location - right in the heart of the city. Comfy rooms and beds. Very beautiful breakfast room with a variety of continental breakfast. Helpful staff. Very clean.

Clean and nice hotel. Good experience. Friendly staff.

I had a great stay and appreciated the comfortable accommodations and friendly staff. One small suggestion would be to offer a bit more variety in the breakfast options to enhance the experience. Overall, a lovely hotel that I would recommend.
