    Pros +

    • From the outside it looks very pleasing. Generally speaking it was clean and they have a very nice breakfast buffet.
    • Beautiful property. Friendly professional staff with fluent Englese.
    • Beautiful hotel, large rooms and bathrooms, large outside area with tables and chairs. Small but beautiful lobby bar

    Cons -

    • The hotel front desk staff could have been a bit more pleasant they were not exactly nice. When we asked to upgrade the room they tried to nickel and dime us. Basically, we asked for a room with a bathroom door on it and their response was that's extra!
    • They really need a swimming pool. Europe is now hot in the summer. They have more than enough property for a pool The bathroom floor was very slippery when showering since there was no surround to the shower
    • The hotel is nice, but when we checked in I feel like they did a bait and switch. We are both over 60 and were offered a room on the ground floor. The receptionist suggested we take a look at it since the bathroom is downstairs in the room. She wasn't kidding, at my husband's age it would have been dangerous at night even though the room itself was lovely. So, instead we were given a different room more standard in it's design. The issue we have is that the room we took was an extra $60-75 per night! It wasn't larger, it was on a higher floor and the very end of a hall that reminded me of the one in the movie "The Shining". We took it, but because of the way they switched I do not feel they are reputable and would never recommend staying there.

Lobby was very attractive. Location is good. Breakfast was great.

    - rooms are nice, the only room with bathtubs are on 2 levels, where the bathroom (including the toilette) is in the cellar, fairly interesting approach.- the hotel has very comfortable parking- there was minibar in the room

    - out of the 100 parking spaces, there is one (1) electric charging spot, where you need to download a separate app- absolute disturbing front desk staff attitude

Everything!!! Breakfast, parking, stuff, size of rooms . Interior!

A bit far away from downtown …

    8PatriziaPosted on: 1-1-2026

The size of the bathroom and the shower, the cleanliness, the furniture in the room and in the whole hotel

The size of the bedroom itself was a little smallThe breakfast could me better

This is a really gorgeous hotel. Very grand and felt way more expensive than it was. Breakfast was one of the best (if not the best) hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Very quiet and in a good location.

    8AnthonyPosted on: 12-7-2025

The best part was the lobby and the best was comfortable

The room was very hot and I had to call the front desk at 2am to ask if they controlled the temperature. They said they could adjust it down, but it didn't happen. I opened the door finally to get some cool air and finally get some rest. For the price I paid, this wasn't the night I really hoped for.

This is a stunning hotel.Large rooms, plenty of parking beautiful marble interior decoration.Very good breakfast.

Not a lot of cafes in area.

A comfortable place to stay. The concierge were helpful and recommended some fine restaurants for us. The museum in Parm

HORRENDOUS !!!! Not only is this not a 5 star property, it is. ZERO star property ! The location is more in tune with a Soviet neighborhood; a former hospital institution. The hotel was EMPTY….no doormen, customer service for luggage, no guests !!!! Nothing. No refund and we have been contesting the full charge for close to (60) days and they refuse to refund our money !!! Guests beware and BOOKING.com was of NO ASSISTANCE !!!

Dark, cavernous, institution-like, RUDE employees. The worst customer interaction we have ever experienced

The front desk was so helpful giving us restaurant advice and anything else we needed. A wonderful grand hotel. The only thing was that when it got chilly at night we couldn’t turn on the heater- apparently, they don’t turn it on until a certain date. The marble floors were very cold at night. But we truly enjoyed it. And the breakfast had a great assortment! Everyone was very attentive.

The room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable and the shower was really nice. Breakfast was okay. Nice interior property (outside is bland and sterile). Miki (Mikias) and the restaurant was spectacular. He was pretty much the only one who would really get whatever you needed and asked if you needed anything. Great guy.The girls at the front desk did their best to get us ice and everything we needed.

CHECK LOCATION ON GOOGLE MAP BEFORE BOOKING.It is not adjacent to old town and we did not feel comfortable walking at night back from old town to the hotel. In fact, there is a multiple person brawl when we were walking home the last night and we were almost in the middle of it. We asked the hotel if it was safe to walk around at night and they said absolutely, but I assure you it is absolutely not (especially if you’re coming from old town). Take a taxi the first time and look around and you’ll see what we mean.We absolutely would not stay here again.Under no circumstances is this hotel a 5-star property *(see below) in our opinion after staying at other 5-star hotels and researching what are the requirements of a 5-star hotel *(see below). It should also be noted that for some bizarre reason you can't have heat until November 1. That is not the hotel's fault, just some ridiculous city ordinance. So prepared to freeze. But on that note, I think the hotel should have a generator to handle this since they claim to be a 5-star hotel. There's no 5-star hotel in the world that I know of, where ever heard of, that you freeze in your room because you can't get heat. They do not have 24-hour room service nor 24-hour valet service. The bar didn't open until 3 (15:00) and sometimes we could not get anything to eat or drink. The breakfast “menu” was a joke. Note the picture of the “pancake with fruit and maple syrup,” obviously one tiny pancake and missing the fruit and syrup! Really? However, the buffet part was good.*NOTE: <<"To be an international five-star hotel, a property must meet high standards in service, infrastructure, and amenities, which typically include 24-hour multilingual staff, fine-dining restaurant and at least one other dining/lounge option are mandatory. 24-hour room service with a diverse, high-quality menu is also required.

    Very nice property

The service is dull, cold, and not welcoming; location is a bit far from center; No A/C available during our stay; courtyard under renovations

    1MeshariPosted on: 10-6-2025

    clean roomvery luxuries hotel style

A/C is not working, many insects outside you can't open the window and sleep No variety in breakfast reception is not responding and helpful at all times

Wonderful breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Very beautiful place, needs a little walk to city center.

Fridge wasn’t cold enough, shower room drain is a little slow. Was more expensive during our stays possibly due to Verdi festival.

    9CharlottePosted on: 10-4-2025

Loved everything about the hotel! Easy walk to the center of Parma. Very nice staff. Loved the room!! Nice breakfast buffet. We would absolutely stay here again.

    10feniPosted on: 8-16-2025

Just perfect. We were planning to stay 1 night and we extended our stay due to the high quality hotel service and the staff. We will visit it again

There is absolutely nothing that you can complain about. !!! Everything and everyone was PERFECT.

    10marciaPosted on: 6-10-2025

Our room was nice but a bit dark, but when we mentioned it, the manager provided us with an upgrade which was delightful. Breakfast was wonderful....everything you could want and more.

the hotel is located a bit from the center, so you will need to take a bus or walk about a mile to the center.
