Hotel Violetta

Initially, it seemed like a reasonable price.

We have been travelling across Europe by bicycle for the past five weeks, and this is the first time we have encountered difficulty accommodating our bicycles.The staff at the hotel essentially said that we could lock them up outside ourselves and assume responsibility for them, but they would not allow them in the hotel.Our bicycles are our raison d’etre at this point, so we were forced to look for alternate accommodation, even though we had paid, and the payment was nonrefundable.The hotel looks somewhat rundown, and the neighbourhood is rather sketchy.The desk staff and proprietor were Rude and dismissive.

Ideal location. A 10 minute bus ride to the centre. Bus every 10 minutes. Free parking.

its an ideal location with a good an easily accessible parking area and a pleasant walk to the town centre. as well as a good early opening cafe Nextdoor

there was noise coming through the walls from next door all night for two nights in a row. It didn't stop me sleeping but it was a little disturbing

The room is big, they offer towels for shower and there is a machine which sells water and other beverages in the reception.

The personnel was nice and they took good care for the cleaning services. Location was ok. Quite close to the city centre, to me it was walkable distance so that's ok. Also shops and bars close. The check in and check out was ok. The people who work there are doing their best and I do appreciate it because they work in not very nice place.

The place is old and needs deep renewal. The bad was old and not comfortable. The way the hotel looks like inside is ... strange when it comes that this is XXI century. So old school in the bad way becasue that is not historic building. The way of "decorating" from the seventhies ;) bordello like curtains and always dark and gloomy corridor even though there is a window at the corridor it's always covered ... however there was not hot weather so where's the point to cover the window all the time. The look inside was quite easy to change with not such a big investment. So refreshment is strongly needed. However as I've written in the positives the place was clean and they were cleaning every day.Horrible colours and also very old windows not protecting from the loud street which is very very close.

Great location For the Fiera. Freindly Staff, quiet and clean. Great cafe very conveniently next door

Nothing it was perfect

Reviews are terrible so I was expecting some hell, but the place was actually not bad at all, and also it was the cheapest accomodation in Parma so it exceeded my expectations. If you are the Hostel person you gonna love it here. The woman at the reception was nice and helpful.
