Novotel Parma Centro

The staff was very helpful. They went to great lengths to make my stay comfortable and to advise me on the rest of my trip. More like the first

Breakfast was very good. Location was good too - very close to the train station and a few minutes walk into the town center. I was very happy with the bed and pillows :-)

Hotel Car park is a bit tight but ok

Great location for stay to take tour of Parma cheese and prosciutto processors. Great café next door. Fantastic meals both at bottled hotel's own restaurant and at recommended place a short walk away. Comfortable, clean, and they held our bags after checkout so se could take a tour.

Location very good. Did not try breakfast.

Garage in the back of hotel was tight in parking and leaving the garage. Card did not work and needed someone to help. No elevators to lobby and had to roll luggage down the car ramp.

Close to train station

Staff was rude. Plenty of front desk people and cannot say they will be right with. But can talk amongst themselves. Were rude when I explained no AC and mildew issue in shower. Yelled out Italian law says they don’t need to have AC only heat. They were ready with that answer as soon as I told them about the AC. Still a mildew issue in shower. They were hesitant on giving me another room. Rooms are dirty. Elevator floor is dirty and not kept

Location and size of the room general areas were nice and clean, parking was convenient. Pool was nice

Dirty shower with mold everywhere the shower head clogged and the water spilled everywhere. There are emergency lights in the room illuminating the room.at night.

Not to far of a walk to Parma Centro and a very short walk to the train station.

The bar area wasn’t staffed consistently.

Great location, 5min from the train station, and 10-15min from the city center by foot. Very clean comfortable, next door bakery is excellent!

Got a great suite with a big balcony overlooking the city and close to historical center. Hotel quite modern. Parking on site.

Breakfast time was misinformed day before, and was left without a proper breakfast.

The hotel is very comfortable and it’s a perfect location. There is no need to stay in the complete centre as this hotel is already in the centre with a 5 min walk to the Duomo ?. The room wasn’t big but for a short stay it didn’t matter. Everything worked, no noise from outside at all.

Location and good sized room

Advertised as having air conditioning but was not working as hotel only allowed to use it at certain times of year. This should be made clear at booking stage. Room was very warm so no option but to sleep with window open with a fair bit of street noise. The biggest point is that sliding glass shower door became detached from fixings and almost fell into shower- very dangerous. Reported to reception and was told it would be fixed. It wasn’t. When checking out staff seemed disinterested in the issue.

Nice, clean and modern hotel. Kids were happy about a little game corner.

It’s on a noisy road so don’t recommend sleeping with a window open but double windows block the noise out well.

Very beautiful hotel with good facilities. My praise and compliments go to the staff who were extremely helpful and provided assistance whenever necessary. A special thank you goes to Constantino who had to locate coffee mugs late one evening. He also helped on other occasions for which I am very grateful. Also a special thank you to Michela who was also extremely lovely and helpful. Thank you to both of you for being so kind ?

My only complaint is that there were no mugs in the rooms (only paper cups) and no milk. I had to go to reception daily to get milk. I would expect both to be provided in the room in a 4 star hotel.

Extremely noisy at night , I didn't realize that it was that close to the train station,the room AC didn't work and there was a light from the emergency exit that kept blinking all night.Really dirty outside by the entrance

Excellent location.I liked the professionalism and knowledge of the receptionist - Mr. Constantino.He was able to assist with everything what we asked for .

Breakfast for the 4 star hotel should have more varieties.Also, during breakfast at 09:30 the stuff was stoped coffee machine for cleaning and the other wan wasn’t in operation.

Bar staff and parmigiano staff were excellent. Breakfast staff and the food, not the best. Pretty unhappy staff. Reception kept forgetting to return calls to book restaurant and were maybe not the most helpful. Although the lady who checked us in was fine v

Staff just seemed disinterested especially in trying to book the restaurant failing to return the call confirming booking made.

I only needed to spend the night. I arrived late and had to leave in the morning before breakfast. Check-in was quick - it's convenient that you can pay for parking and city tax by card along with the cost of the room.The garage is located behind the hotel building. Just around the corner.Since I was leaving before breakfast, I had coffee and sweets in the cafe to the right of the hotel exit.The cannolo there is not tasty, but the pastry with figs and candied fruits is great! I bought a large size to take home.

The room cleaning is poor.The mattress pad under the clean sheet is of poor quality and stained.Next time I'll look for another hotel.

Great location, the sauna was good, the beds were very comfy, checkout at 12, which is rare for Italy!

One of the receptionist was a little rude to one of my friends, the fridge was warm.

There was no wifi on the first floor. After talking with the front desk team, they were able to accommodate us on a different floor. Breakfast is too basic, a shame considering the amazing regional products that are available.No Netflix in the TV room.
