Hotel Orologio

Hotel is 20 minutes walk from from the city centre. Parking is free all around the building. Breakfast was good, room was very comfortable and quiet. We could bring our dog with us. You can also rent a bike in the hotel. Perfect for a short stay in Ferrara.

I liked everything about it.

The staff was so friendly, which was refreshing :) they really made me want to come back. I liked the hotels decor and the size of the rooms.

The WiFi didn’t work in my room, so I had to use all my data :( the bed wasn’t the most comfortable and there was no air conditioning (it’s “winter”), so it was quite warm in the room. Had to keep the balcony door open at all times and then bugs flew inside. I also didn’t like how there wasn’t a “do not disturb sign.”

Located a little outside centre for non-motorists. But enough bicycles present.

The variety that was offered at the buffet breakfast is exceptional at this property.

The location of this property is not ideal as it is out of the centre & just on the outskirts.In saying this the property offers the use of bikes free of charge to get around the city cntr. The property doesn't have a gym, which whilst on business i like to work out so this was a downfall on my behalf for not checking prior booking as I was there for 4 it's & the price was not comparable to other hotels right in the centre. The property is a little old, run down & could do with a refurbishment. Francesca was so delightful & is a real credit to the hotel, not8nhing was to hard when asked of her.

The old feel of the rooms was very nice and relaxing. The location was great because it was not too far from the town center, walkable. Good variety for breakfast and the food was good.

The room was big and clean with a balcony. Bathroom have a skylight, with was nice because the steam can go out quickly and the mirror was not fogging up.The staff were very friendly and professional and helpful. We have a dog and it was not a problem even when the dog is not allowed in the breakfast room, the staff were so nice and prepared for us a table outside the breakfast room. Parking was available on the public street around the hotel for free, but there was a possibility to park a car in the garage for a fee.

Wonderful large room. Parking space under the hotel for a reasonable €10. Only two spaces however.

Located outside the historic center. Walkable in the spring but not in the winter fog so we had to drive and park. It was still only 850metres away.

The rooms are very nice, clean, and large. Easy parking.

Near to main train station. Friendly check-in service. Spacious and nicely furbished room with wood roof. Very comfortable bed. Minibar. Good Wifi. Quite area, although you hear quite a bit from your room neighbours.

Worn down hotel in some areas and also regarding some of the room equipment. Not 100% clean if you looked closer to some edges, stains on comfort pillows. Electric kettle did not look very clean inside. Shower head could not be fixed when in use. Toilet smelled often strongly of old urine.There was not really a (private) balcony as the room opened to a balcony circle way connected to all other rooms on this level. Breakfast, especially for a country like Italy, was really bad, I definitely cannot recommend.

The property can be easily reached through either bus stop or they can give u a ride to the train station in 5mins . Staff were extremely helpful , kind & I loved the stay
