Fantastic location, comfortable room and excellent breakfast

The location, across from the palace, could not have been better located. The hotel is very Euro modern, and the front desk staff was wonderful.

The location was spectacular on the Piazza of the castle with two or three exceptionally good restaurants on the same block. The facilities were new boutique, Modern, and the breakfast was good. They were only paper cups in the room, no water, and the shower felt a little unsafe and slippery.

Lady on the reception on our arrival. Not pleasant at all!The same lady was also in the morning helping at breakfast. When we were eating she sprayed the neighbour table and the smell was really not matching our breakfast time...

The hotel is located in the heart of the town, just a short walk from major tourist attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants. Breakfast offers a variety of options, including local specialties. The rooms are modern and functional, yet still cozy.

The hotel is in a restricted pedestrian area. You can park the car in front of the hotel for loading and unloading your luggage. However, for parking, you will need to use a public parking facility. We parked our car in a paid garage just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. For us, this was not a problem at all, but it is something to keep in mind if you are dependent on your car.

Excellent location opposite the castle. Having stayed in a few hotels in Ferrara this does one of the better breakfasts.

Location was great.

Our room was small and very plain. Next time I would upgrade to a larger room.

Good hotel in the center of Ferrara. Around 20 minutes easy walk from the station.

It's the first hotel I had to pay 5 EUR to keep my baggage for a couple of hours after checking out.

This stay was not what we had hoped given prior reviews. Room was small but adequate. The shower had all sorts of black mildew or mold growing around the grout lines and seams. Near bedtime we got extremely hot in the room. We carry a portable thermometer and the temp was almost 79 Fahrenheit. when we called the front desk, they told us the AC could not be turned on and that our only option was to open the window. Well it was pouring rain that night. We opened the window anyway and got the temperature to drop a few degrees but not sufficient for sleeping. We had a horrible night’s sleep and woke up covered in mosquito bites from having to open the window. The breakfast was OK except that the bacon was not fully cooked, apparently, because a few hours later my husband had a violent case of food poisoning. He ate nothing else that would have caused a problem. Staff was a bit brusque at the front desk. Did not get a warm welcome and person seemed upset that we asked some questions. Maybe we just caught this place on a bad day but sadly I can’t recommend this hotel.

This is truly an exceptional boutique hotel. The breakfast may well be the finest in Italyl The view across the square to the Castello is unforgetable. The hotel promotes a healthy life style which is to be applauded. Ferrara is well worth a visit in itself but it is also an excellent base to visit other locations by train . There are numerous excellent restaurants near the hotel.

The location was perfect, as was the interior of the hotel and the breakfast.

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Modern amenities (including much needed excellent air-conditioning, excellent wifi). Very friendly staff. Fantastic location (in the car-free historic centre of Ferrara, just opposite the imposing Castello Estense).

The breakfast was varied and rich, but sometimes the bread and cake options were not all that fresh (yesterday's...?). The coffee from the machine was not great (a disappointment when one is in Italy...). Otherwise all fine.

The room was just perfect, comfortable with lovely view out over the Castle. The person in reception was very helpful with instructions about car parking and places for dinner. The hotel has a breakfast room only. Breakfast was just fine, more than enough to eat
