Location, room size

No air-conditioner, terrible breakfast (almost every item there is sweet). I have no idea why this hotel got a 5-star official rating. This is an OK 3-star hotel with large and beautifully decorated room.

Friendly staff, good location, private parking within premises. Breakfast was good.

Paying extra Euro 18 / day for parking, which was not properly. Disclosed on Booking Pre order Ad. Shower facility needs complete renovation, is very in convinient in the bath tub.

The heating didn't work and we were freezing. Also, there was no possibility to drink coffee in the hotel, no bar, restaurant, etc. was open.Bad shower, no heating, absolutely does not deserve 5*

The breakfast )althogh booked) was unavailbale; the air condiioning was non workking properly; the room was not regularly cleaned and made up; in short teher was no service which may justify 5 star status; really disappointing

The 5-star rating for this accommodation is definitely not accurate. Such a hotel would require much more care. The walls had torn wallpaper in many places, there was a broken chair, and the chair cushions had huge stains, making it unpleasant and unappealing to sit on them. The shower enclosure was neglected - nothing you would expect from a 5-star hotel. I'm sorry, but our room did not match the description at all.

We went to Ferrara for the summer festival. The hotel is right by the entrance to the festival. The hotel has it's own parking space, costs additional 18€ per day. They were nice enough to let us leave the car on the parking space also the next day after checking out. The room was ok, we did use it only for sleeping.

The breakfast was ok!

I think the general insonorization of the room could be better!No presence of conditioning device...Some particular important things can't be broken!

Location is fantastic! Breakfast very good!

We were out exploring the city until 9pm and the spa was closed when we got back. Sorry to have missed the opportunity to use the spa! Later hours for adults would be wonderful!

The shower never had hot water. I asked for it to be fixed but it never was

It is a great historical building but needs an overhaul in facilities. My room was flooded with flush tank leaking the entire night. Limited staff. Phone not working. I had to personally come down for everything. The staff took its time in responding and made me miss my meet. Generally a stressful stay

This is a well converted palazzo. The breakfast room was rather historically luxurious. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. The view out my dormer window reached by my very own circular staircase was green and peaceful
