The staff are very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and had all the amenities as advertised. The lounge bar seemed a good scene for socializing but didn't impact the rooms. And the breakfast was outstanding!... crafted with care. Thank you!

The ambience of the hotel is striking, and so are the bar and outside area. The view too is splendid from the terrace.

The hotel needs a renovation soon, as it's clearly been a while and age hasn't been kind to it. The room's bathrooms are particularly small and the bathroom door for example wasn't functional at all.

If you make a reservation, they might charge your account. I booked two rooms for my friends so they could pay in person and in cash, but the hotel charged my account. After a brief conversation with one of the staff members, they stopped responding to me.

Hotel has really nice garden at the backyard for relax or drink. Rooms are renovated and it is by the lake. It has also restaurant and offers alkoholic drinks.

Cleanliness of the rooms could be much better. It is a bit noisy because of the main road. Staff doesn’t speak english. Access to the lake is full of rubbish.

The staff were not good and their behavior specially they closed the entrance after 1.30 am so we had a lot of problems

The main issue with this hotel was the staff and administration. When one reserves on booking.com it is said that your card maybe charged a pre-payment. As we booked on the day of arrival, we did not know if the card would be charged. As we requested the reception to charge the whole amount from the card used on booking.com, they refused and mentioned that they had no access to their account there. Additionally they asked for 20$ more than the amount we had on our reservation, mentioning that the conversion rates are changing, which did not make sense. The ended up agreeing to the same amount only if we pay cash. They also refused to provide us with a receipt of the payment, and added some racist statements as well.So, in summary, I strongly recommend other travelers to stay away from this hotel. I am certain you can find a better service in the same price range.

Breakfast was good and the garden is cute

worst hotel I've ever been, the room smells moist already at entrance. The bathroom is so small you can't even sit on the toilet and if you shower everything gets wet. The bathroom is super dirty and there is mold everywhere. In addition our room number 5 had a window right next to the space where the employees do their breaks so even with the curtains everyone can see in your room. Is also smells like food and cigarettes if you open the window but the window is the only source of air because there is no ventilation...

Location beautiful. Busy bar and restaurant and suiting a young crowd. Ideal location for the purpose of our trip to see local sights.

Noisy main road outside. Busy bar and restaurant. Accommodation took less priority than the bar service. Some rooms very noisy to sleep in, due to proximity of bar, and people walking up and down stairs until the early hours. Shower rooms too small to use comfortably. Didn’t like being woken at approx. 10:30pm / 11pm on the second night of our stay for the demand to see our passports for three of our party, despite these having been checked already upon our arrival. No explanation ever given for this!

Bathroom was very small and not comfortable.the room was very small.at the beginning it was hair on the drain and we informed hotel stuff but they didnt clean it.one of the hotel staff staring at me and make me feeling bad.

well It was a calm and nice place especially the garden and the cafe existed in the hotel the staff were so hospitable and friendly.

the location was a little far from the center and there wasn’t many public transport near the hotel especially when you carry the bags no one stops to pick you up.the staff didn’t know english even one word.the price in comparison with the facilites that exist on the hotel was so high.

Water was gone for hours!Electricity down for another hours!No air conditioning, toilet and bathroom was very small and spereted from room by only glass blocks.Beds make lots of noise! Seem broken.No daily house keeping.

Superb and friendly staff, cute room, and a fantastic breakfast all with a gorgeous view of Lake Van. Definitely would stay again.

The bathroom was too small

first time we ran away from a hotel after one night even if we booked 2. there was no wifi in the room, there was no hot water all the time, even if the staff were saying that 'there will be'. at 10pm there was a blackout, so the hotel started using some outside power generator which kept us awake for 2 hours. the walls are very thin, you could hear it everywhere and it sounded louder than a truck engine. we asked for our money back for the second night, but the hotel refused cause 'no hot water and no wifi it not a valid reason to cancel and the thing with generator wont happen again'. if they have a massive generator it happens often enough.The restaurant is really nice, food was great, staff tried to help us, but the hotel part of it is a misunderstanding.

I was expecting, from reviews, to ha rude people working here, and bad WIFI. Definitely not the case with the employees. Everyone was kind and at times exceptional. Very attentive, actually addressing me very formally. The place itself is really nice. Lots of locals come here to hang out in the lounge. Our room overlooked the backyard garden. The lounge overlooks the lake. Bathrooms are made completely of glass. At least ours were. We’re they small? Yes, but clean, working, hot water, etc.The decor to this place is great. The garden is great, the views are great. And Katie the dog is great. The WIFI could be a bit better, but it worked. They had it, and we were able to take care of our needs. Management did have me pay them directly, the next morning, even after paying online. They said the internet was down, so they had to cancel my stay, with the site. I’ll find out about this. If I paid twice, I’ll get refunded. I just had them print me a receipt. Overall. I’d recommend this place.I would love to go back someday and spend more time here. They have some very interesting historic things not far from them. The place was nice , and we will miss Katie.

Very cool hotel with big bar and very nice atmosphere. It has beatiful view to the Van lake. Nice garden. I definitely recommend.

Unstable wifi.Breakfast was from 10:00 am. It´s really too late. So we had to leave without breakfast.
