Pros +
- Very well appointed Spa Hotel and in the center of town, but still quiet and tranquil. Beautiful location in a fabulous mountain setting, could not be any better! In addition, owners and staff are exceptionally nice and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable! This is a 10 out of 10 place to stay, highly recommended!
- Friendly owners and great breakfast
- We want to express our immense gratitude to the entire staff at the Lifestyle & Spa Hotel Grächerhof for making our stay truly unforgettable. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional.A special thank you to Heidi (the receptionist) for your warm welcome, fantastic recommendations on things to do in Grächen, providing all the useful information about the property, making a fondue dinner reservation for us, and surprising us with a welcome drink.Thank you, Pedro (the waiter), for your stellar service at the restaurant and for making us feel so comfortable. Once again, we appreciate the amazing coffee we had just before we left! ?Please also extend our gratitude to the other waitress (the one with black hair) for being so thoughtful and even setting up the music for us during our anniversary dinner. Thanks to the Chef for making the best omelet I have ever had for breakfast!Thank you, Magda (housekeeping), for your immediate help in providing the items we needed.Thank you, Simon (the owner), for taking the time to check in with us to ensure everything was to our liking, for the lovely conversation, and for your very thoughtful surprise gesture to honor our wedding anniversary. (And again, thanks to Pedro for going the extra mile to deliver it!)The property is new, modern, and cozy, making it a perfect choice for a romantic getaway, a ski trip, or a family vacation. It has the best spa I have ever seen in a three-star hotel, featuring a bio sauna, dry sauna (95°C), steam sauna, jacuzzi, foot massage station, and an incredibly comfortable and peaceful relaxation area with fresh fruit, spa water, and high-quality tea.The location is fantastic-literally right next to the bus station and the cable car to Hannigalp. They even provide special snow-walking shoes for free, and for skiers, there is a designated area to store ski equipment. We are so glad we found and booked this property. We highly recommend it!
Cons -
- Nothing - it was just perfect!
- The room was a bit too hot but it is crazy how this time of the year
- Nothing. We highly recommend not only this hotel but also Grächen itself—it is truly a hidden gem in the Swiss Alps! One more thing (due to limited space, it didn’t fit into the "What We Liked" section): The restaurant serves, among other things, delicious Valaisan cheese fondue with plenty of pickles, potatoes, and bread, which we loved, as well as fantastic-looking Italian cuisine. In the morning, they offer a top-quality buffet breakfast.

Nice hotel, nice and warm people willing to assist. Breakfast was ok, not the best but, i loved the fresh cooked egg.
Almost zero parking, especially for the winter holidays the space was super limited
The rooms are very clean, cozy and have all the amenities and comfortable. Very well managed temperature and the beds are nice too. We had a lovely balcony looking outside. Breakfast is very nice too... and the staff is the best you will ever find in Switzerland. Ask for Nadeem, Maya and Heidi. They are lovely!
Nothing I can think of. It was the best stay.
Excellent breakfast. Lovely helpful staff, especially the guy who checked us in. Comfy rooms and nice soap, shower gel etc. decent coffee machine in the room too
Bit disappointed the spa wasn’t open in the morning meaning we actually didn’t use it as we only spent one evening there. Not the fault of the hotel either but the night we stayed there was some sort of street party with a very noisy singer who sang until just after 1am! Could have done without that!
It was our second stay and everything was very good - good facilities, parking nearby, breakfast, spa and the room. Also very welcoming stuff
If you go to the restaurant be prepared that the portions will be very substantial- kind of good but I don’t eat much and try to avoid food waste
A very warm welcome with a free drink after a long hiking day, comfortable room and very Nice breakfast!
Excellent breakfast! Amicable staff. Spectacular views from balcony!
This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had, everything was great from our arrival. We were welcomed with a glass of wine in the sofa by the chimney during check in. We then stayed for excellent dinner at their restaurant La Torre - delicious pasta and tiramisù. Breakfast was abundant, with homemade cake, warm crunchy bread, and a cook who prepared eggs on the spot - would recommend the omelette. Staff members were really friendly! After a day of skiing in Zermatt, we could relax at the spa area, which was quiet and very well equipped (2 dry saunas, 1 humid sauna, jacuzzis, showers, an area for reading). Wish we would have stayed longer at this great hotel! Promised ourselves we will be back soon - grazie, merci for the stay Grächerhof!
Excellent location, super friendly staff
It would be nice to have more comfortable seating after the skiing
It was lovely to be welcomed by a drink offered by the hotel, nice touch. The spa is great, very intimate, clean, brand new and not busy at all (and we stayed there on a Saturday). There are lots of facilities. Staff was really friendly and warm. Breakfast is gorgeous, best omelette ever! Room was nice a spacious and had such a lovely smell.
The only thing is that parking is not guaranteed. We had to park in the city car park, which really close by, so not a big deal but it meant that we had to pay 15 CHF extra.
Bathrooms were way too small, not as pictured and almost felt as bathrooms in cruise ships cabins. Breakfast very basic, not many options, although the coffee was great!! View from our room excellent.
Bathrooms could’ve been bigger, very uncomfortable to take a shower and sinks were tiny - hardly any room to put stuff.
Cozy boutique with great service
Breakfast service a bit slow at peak times
Brand new rooms, high quality furnishings, comfy bed with very nice bed sheets. 5 minute walk to the Hannigalp ski lift. Well insulated so the noise from the bars in the area did not bother us.
The location, the servics,,the place is very clean, breakfast was very good
I whish we had a frig in the room
Staff at the desk was very helpful and kind, let us store our bags for a bit until check-in. Breakfast was great!
Good design. Friendly and helpful receptionist (not always the case in Switzerland). Central location. The room in the tower was exceptional to stay in.
