Pros +
- Gorgeous property with massive artistically amazing landscape, plants, sculptures, etc., completely charming Provence chateau/resort living. We can totally stay there for weeks to enjoy the countryside beauty. Clean rooms with modern decoration, courteous staff ready to help instantly. Convenient driving to the town of Aix-En-Provence and easy access to the highways. Did not try spa or wine tasting given our limited schedule, but will defintely return and recommend to friends & family. Fantastic Provence stay!
- Beautiful place with a magnificent garden. Our suit was roomy and comfortable. The staff are provided us with excellent service. Thank you!
- A true dream stay. We were in one of the three out cottages. Together with the main chateau, pool, grounds, orchards and art we were in a beautiful wonderland.
Cons -
- Lack of breakfast choice variety, a bit missed in service (forgot or messed up with the orders), understood it may be the holiday seasons.
- My room number 4 is above the Michelin restaurant and the smell comes into the room No elevator to the room which is in the third floor The breakfast is poor and the service there is bad
- AC was off which forced us to keep our windows open. This made the room a bit nosier.

The place itself is beautiful the gardens and the buildings are very nice

Breakfast was excellent.
AC was off which forced us to keep our windows open. This made the room a bit nosier.
Stunning gardens, amazing service, comfortable beds, gorgeous art
Everything was exceptional. The staff were great. A special note was the 2 cats on the premises, who were part of the great atmosphere. My hope is they are being taken care of and taken to the vet for their yearly shots. They add greatly to the whole feeling of the Chateau. The spa services were great too.
Nothing really.
We love this place! Second time there and it was even better than the first! I think we’ll be back again! Thank you. Julien was wonderful as the concierge too!
The tub shower combination in our bathroomshould have been better designed. We liked the size of the bathroom and our room, but this was the only thing I’d fix. Water got everywhere.
The room I got was next to the restaurant, which was quite noisy as it was the main restaurant at the hotel. There wasn’t much the staff could do, but they were kind enough to ask the restaurant to turn down the music a bit. But still it was not a comfortable stay, as I was looking forward to stay in my room to quietly enjoy the beauty of the Chateau. Nevertheless, the Chateau is beautiful and staff were friendly.
Grounds. Pool. Pool staff. Somelier. Wine. Food.
Front desk staff and La Source waitresses. 48 steps to our room. No bellhop to help with luggage. Still a 10 and we will be back.
The room and bed was comfortable. The property is beautiful, you don’t feel the need to leave it. La Source restaurant was excellent.
We wanted to dine at Art but we were told by the front desk that the chef would not accommodate vegetarians. There is a Michelin restaurant down the road at chateau Fonscolombe that had a vegetarian menu, it was excellent.
The beautiful winery, art pieces, underground water cavern with a view from on of the 3 great restaurants onsite, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows beautiful gardens, huge wine collection available! Good amenities! There's a good Spa and pool area! The chateau is huge and has a lot of special gardens and outdoor art pieces to discover!
Just a minor detail is In the summer there's a lot of flies inside the restaurants. Maybe some modern fly catchers can help with that. I also don't like the toilet room doesn't have an automatic washlet or even a manual washer. No sink in the toilet room.
This place is simply spectacular. Immaculate grounds, bra rooms, friendly staff. We Sept enjoyed the pool as we were there during a heat wave.
The road approaching the chateau is windy and narrow making driving a bit stressful. We also had a mild communication issue where we requested that our sofa bed be made up which it was not and we had to make the bed late at night after our return from dinner. However the night manager, Guillame,, was very helpful.
Incredible property that is very well maintained. Vast space with a perfect amount of art mixed in. Super scenic
Curtains weren’t blacked out
The location and property were perfect. Unfortunately for a 5 star resort they do not have the staff commensurate with that rating. The staff at the front desk besides Leah and Antoine at the pool , were inexperienced, young and not enthusiastic or knowledgeable, nor welcoming. Same for Le K restaurant regarding the staff and La Source where we literally sat for 15 minutes trying to get someone’s attention to get another cup of coffee but the main server woman stood chatting with other patrons for an unusually long time. Underwhelming for a restaurant of that caliber. The decor in Le K and Le Source however were outstanding. The art sculptures all around the resort were very dark in meaning.
Main house room 5. Was above the restaurant, didn’t give us a private feeling , most staff
Beautiful chateau with stunning gardens, food & wine excellent, friendly helpful staff.
This place is beyond words beautifully kept, and attentive staff. would highly recommend this place to all my family and friends.
Bar closes early
The hotel is stunning and in a beautiful location. We enjoyed the bar and spa, but were unable to dine at the restaurants because they were fully booked.
I’ve never written a poor review and I took a couple months before writing this one. We travelled throughout Europe for 4 weeks and the service at this hotel was subpar and in my opinion the property doesn’t meet the standards of other Relais & Chateaux properties. The staff was generally inattentive throughout our stay. The front desk staff were scattered and disorganized at check-in. Most service requests were delayed and follow up calls were required for follow through. I planned to read and enjoy lunch by the pool. I waited patiently for pool service for over an hour and the attendant didn’t acknowledge my presence while serving other patrons. My partner traveled roundtrip to town to run an errand and during that time I was never served. The only reason I stayed at the pool so long is because I needed internet access and WiFi in the room was poor and was strongest at the pool/spa. I did express my concerns to management. I was offered a return trip as a privileged guest, however my experience was so poor that I have not taken advantage of the offer. Overall, the service was substandard and I can’t recommend this property to other guests.
What a find!!! Everything is five-star plus. The rooms are exquisite and huge. The gourmet restaurant provides memories that will last a lifetime. Breakfast is wonderful and the gardens are amazing.
Beautiful property, lovely gardens, pool, spa etcStaff were very helpful-I accidentally left something at the hotel and they delivered it to me 15mins away at our next hotel the next day! -above and beyond service not often encountered -amazing!
Restaurant ambience lets the place down a little. It is very expensive but is in 2 rather unimpressive rooms although 1 looks into the calm, clean organised kitchen. Staff are professional and pleasant but apart from 1 or 2, not overly friendly
