Appart'hôtel Odalys City - Aix en Provence Centre Palais des Congrès

A very comfortable hotel with professional staff ready to help. The location is perfect- only a two-minute walk from the historic center. There is also a nice Italian restaurant on the property. I will definitely stay here on my return to Aix-en-Provence.

Location and staff were excellent.

Breakfast was very convenient but overpriced .Location was very good within walking distance of restaurants and city center.

Toilet didn’t work well but problem got fixed right away after talking to the front desk.It would have been nice to have a kitchen towel and a small bottle of dish soap available.

Close to old town and safe. Breakfast and dinner were good.

Floor was dirty in the rooms and bathroom smells like sewage. Too many doors between toilet room and bathroom.

The kindness of the staff and the delicious breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice, French cheeses, all different types of bread and cereals.

Our bathroom had water running constantly, there was mold around the bathtub on the outside and it smelled like cat litter.

The reception staff are exceptionally welcoming, kind and extremely helpful. This made our stay quite enjoyable, in addition to the strategic location of the hotel which is quite close to the center but not close enough to jeopardize the serenity.

The room cleaning could be a bit improved, otherwise the service is quite good.

The studio appartment was well laid out and equiped

The site said that a safe was available in each room. We had three different rooms and in none of them the safe worked which made our stay uncomfortable. We told the desk and they said it would be taken care of, but in the 5 days we were there, no joy.

We missed not having a coffee and tea maker.But the most unforgivable thing was not having the in room safe. We were in three different rooms and none of them worked.

We extended our stay for the location, the staff so helpful, the spacious suite/studio, everything was great! Towels very clean and new, confortable beds, several mini markets just a block away!

This is just a suggestion, the microwave was very old, and people don’t use anymore microwaves, it would have been perfect a little oven/toaster to warm up food, breads, etc

The fact that was very spacious, I was traveling with my 2 adults kids so it worked perfect!Having the little kitchenette was great, so helpful for coffee, etcThe staff at the reception soo helpful and nice.Location was great! And the suite wonderful with everything you may need. Very happy and will come back here soon!

Everything great!

The location was excellent. Being less than a block from Ville Centre was a bonus.

Parking was a challenge, as no parking was available the first night of our arrival. The staff didn't offer many options, and we were left on our own to navigate around an unfamiliar city in the dark.

Clean, nice and equipped kitchen, awsome team.

Good location and large suites.

Unhelpful staff and very poor heat. Difficult to park for private cars or taxis to unload luggage.

We were texted shortly before we arrived (while we were driving there!) that there was a technical problem at the hotel and we had been booked into another hotel several miles away. We then did tourist things until 4:30 when we returned to the hotel to collect our car; at that time, we checked to see if the technical problems had been resolved and were told no. We went to the new hotel miles away that was a much inferior standard. Moreover the cost of this hotel was !00+ euros cheaper than what we had already paid for (but we were never offered compensation!). We were furious and contacted the Atrium location and complained to Eduardo, the manager. He 'found' us a room there magically and we returned to the atrium location and stayed there. However, the misdirection cost us two hours (and too much driving in rush hour traffic) and we almost missed our dinner reservation.

Lots of space to move around in the room. Easy walk to the center of town. Comfortable bed.

Bathroom smelled like sewage when we checked in and it stayed that way the whole time. Also our room never got cleaned.

Nothing!

Location is good for the price. We stayed here before, and it was not great, but this room was much more spacious our second stay. It’s nothing fancy, but we’re too busy running around Aix.

This hotel was the perfect location for us in Aix en Provence! Staff were friendly and informative, Pet friendly hotel, great value and extras. We will be back!

The pillows were uncomfortable, and only one pillow per person, I had to ask for an additional. The bathtub/shower was slippery and should have had a bath mat or grip strips for safety. There were no paper towels and no Kleenex which I thought was standard. I wish the tv had other language than French programming.

The location is perfect for exploring the old town, though parking and dropping bags off in front of the hotel is a bit tough. Very affordable.

The hotel hallways + room look like something out of the Soviet era, really awful with exposed plumbing, hooks coming out of the wall, lights not working, etc. Very strange layout with too many doors which is very awkward, nowhere to store clothes. There were barely enough basics when we arrived in the room, like not even one towel per person, no hand towels, no dish towels, and had to ask for toilet paper at the front desk too. Baby crib was not in the room as requested and they have a weird price list posted about 'cleaning fees' including 60 euro to clean upon departure...even though the gentleman at the front desk said they don't actually charge it. Very uncomfortable stay and would not recommend, especially for a family.
