    • Loved everything about it! The hosts were lovely and very helpful. There was plenty of room and we enjoyed ourselves very much! Thank you!
    • We were greeted by a most charming, elegant hostess, Olena, when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the property, which is what appears to be a 15th century abode of a very wealthy family. It has been renovated by a noted interior designer:Eames chairs, very clever use of chrome paint details, soaking tub in our suite, beautiful rear garden, on and on. The owners, Margherita and Anthony, are there every morning for pleasant conversation as Lena prepares and serves the best breakfast you will have in your European travels. We stayed for a week in our 4th week of a 5 week trip. The location is just 3 blocks from Cours Mirabeau, but very quiet with few pedestrians. Lena, Anthony and Margherita have suggested some very good restaurants close by, and they are excellent.

    • There is absolutely nothing we did not like. You will be missing a wonderful stay in Aix if you do not choose this elegant and extremely welcoming property.

Superb location. Beautiful old home near markets and key cultural sites. Appreciated the nice bed sheets too! Super helpful and friendly staff.

Our only complaint, which is minor, is that the bathroom smelled pretty bad (thinking old plumbing ) but it was mostly resolved when we left the window open which we could do since the weather was nice.

Perfect little getaway weekend, everything was great. The property is very unique and beautiful. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Impeccable service. Great location. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Charming decor. I would highly recommend this property!

What a fabulous small boutique hotel / B&B. I felt like I was a guest in a lovely home in Aix a 5 minute walk to the action of Aix. The room was large, with high quality bedding and well laid out with everything you would need plus, a very large bathroom. The hosts are gracious and lovely. I had an excellent stay, it was just too short!

Nothing, it was exactly what I wanted.

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were gracious and breakfast in the garden was delicious and the setting was lovely.

The second bedroom was relatively inaccessible small and dark. So we ended up sharing a bed and that worked well for us.

Lovely hotel and great location especially if you are traveling by train. Close enough to walk from the train but still close to the major pedestrian areas.

Bring your own conditioner and body lotion. However they do provide shampoo.

The property was absolutely beautiful and magical. The owners have restored an architectural gem to absolute perfection and then furnished it with the most beautiful combination of antiques and exquisite modern furniture classics. In fact, I discovered the name, "hotel particulier" means grand urban mansion. The rooms are beautifully appointed and have all the modern amenities you would want, with the most beautiful historical tall windows, ceilings and molding. Also, the quality of the breakfast was top-notch, situated in the beautiful romantic garden. Honestly, we wanted to move in! On top of all of that, we felt so welcomed and cared for. We got a text before our arrival to check about anything we needed. It felt like all the luxury of a hotel and the personal warm welcome of coming home. Perfection.

    We loved everything!

Small boutique, family operated, excellent service, near city center. Offered a very enchanting breakfast in the private garden at the back of the hotel.

Hôtel has 4 rooms available. We had room #2. This room is not a good experience. It is the least well appointed and poorly constructed. Very inconvenient to navigate luggage and shower is open to the bath resulting in water escaping shower onto the bath floor. Very slippery situation if this is a concern of yours.

Breakfast is served in the courtyard in the back of the residence. A lovely, relaxing garden area. You could have virtually anything you requested.

Not a negative, but it's very small...really a private residence with four rooms that they rent out, so it is more like a Bed n Breakfast vs a hotel. The owners/host are very welcoming and accommodating as is the lovely women who manages much of it during the day. Adding it because it's not what I expected, but everything was lovely. No complaints.

Beautifully decorated bed and breakfast in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. Staff was incredible, Olena especially!

The staff assisting with checkin and luggage were fantastic.

The air conditioner in our room was not functioning adequately. We alerted them to the problem and they said the window was open it wasn’t. It was very uncomfortable. They did not fix the issue.

Interesting decoration, and excellent breakfast with great attentive service.

The beds were too soft, the floor in the bathroom was extremely slippery.

Exceptional hospitality in a truly beautiful boutique hotel just steps from the old city of Aix. Wonderful hosts and fa

Lovely family that run the property who took a real personal interest in making sure we had a great time. The art and the general vibes were awesome too.

I liked just about everything. My room was a spacious suite with three beds. I had a private balcony. Petite dejeuner was abundant and delicious. Coffee was especially good. Housekeeping was phenomenal. Bed was comfortable and large. The decor in my room and public areas was really exceptional. Bathtub and shower. Window views down to the garden. Owners and staff were very friendly and personable. I had a snafu with a public laundromat the day I left (washer broke in rinse cycle). They saved the day and dried my laundry for me. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. Very close to lots of shops and restaurants also convenient to the train station. Room had a safe which is always a plus when traveling overseas.

Not a complaint but I never got around to investigating the swimming pool. Everything was about as near perfect as you could expect.

A lovely smaller establishment run more like a bed and breakfast. Quiet but central location. Breakfast was deluxe.

It would have been nice to have a coffee maker n the room
