They honored my parking reservation. Housekeeping was sweet and helpful. Front desk folks were very helpful. The downtown map was much appreciated and used! Breakfast was fantastic. Both elevators worked well. Quiet, restful rooms. Recycling in room.

It's an energy efficient hotel, so check your thermostat upon re-entering your room. Removal of the card key stops EVERYTHING.

Fantastic Hotel, perfect location in centre, very friendly staff, great amenities.Parking 19 euro in hotel, breakfast with style . Swimming pool - very relaxing atmosphere.Don't tell anyone, otherwise I may not have a room next time when i try to book

The carpet was pretty stained and dirty, but the hotel and overall decor of the room was great. I’m just guessing that I was placed in an older room.

The location was good and the rooms, although small for the price, were comfortable enough. The front desk staff were very kind, but the breakfast room was completely overwhelmed by the numerous big tour groups and rude to individual travelers. We stayed 5 nights and there were large tour companies coming and going daily. Will not return.

Very friendly and helpful staff, made an effort to get to know the guests. Comfortable room and excellent shower. The pool area was well kept and the pool itself was a great size. The hotel is an easy walk from the bus station and right in the centre of town

This hotel is amazing! Pool is great, decent fitness area, bedroom is nice, shower is really nice.

Only small negative was that it was very hard to get our room as cold as we wanted it. Not hot, but couldn't get it cold.

The hotel was very quiet and room/bed quite comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere. We enjoyed the pool and facilities. We did not have breakfast- thought it was too pricey. We'd stay here again.

Kevin was especially gracious helpful at tech desk. Staff was friendly.

Room was on an air shaft. Last stay I faced the street, which was better.

Very beautiful, modern rooms equipped with everything we might need. The bed was very comfortable. the room was pristine. The staff is very professional and super nice, they would go out of their way to help you. I loved this hotel!I also loved the fact that the hotel has a private parking and a nice heated swimming pool.

Location was great

The air conditioning was marginal at best. We thought it was broken so someone from the hotel checked on it. Their solution was to provide a fan. It was hard to sleep with only a sheet over us because it was so warm

Our first room had ants so they upgraded us to another room and it was just ok. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a long stay. The rooms are very small.

Perfect location. Close to everything. Excellent staff, friendly and efficient. Nice room and well equipped terrace.

Choice of drinks in the minibar could be much better.Noise from the pool in the afternoon hours can be bothering for the lower floors rooms.

The Grand Rio Rene is my go to hotel in Bordeaux because of its location, facilities and staff. I especially like enjoining the pool after a long day. Merci

Comfortable bed, bath tub, excellent breakfast, lift always availlablePool area was lovely. Unsurprisingly the pool in April is unheated, but that’s really when heat is needed!
