    Pros +

    • Very kind personnel, all ready room, super comfortable bed and pillows.
    • Comfortable, quiet and clean.
    • Good location

    Cons -

    • The room was very cold (at the end of November), it took 1 day to get warmer.
    • In short...nothing! For three decades it has provided ideal accommodation and touring access to the wonders of Aix and the whole of Provence and deserves to be classified as a National Treasure in terms of successful Provençale Cultural and Tourism Initiative.
    • This hotel shouldn't be a Novotel. I thought I booked a 4 star property but I was mistaken. Paper cups in the rooms, like its a hostel. Kettle was not to touch. Bed was small and hard. Pillows were hard. You couldn't control the temperature in the room. I was sweating all night. They take 100 euros (50 per person) guarantee in case you buy something...From 7.00 in the morning on a week day you can hear the noise from the highway!

Great value for money and location was fantastic, especially if you have a car. Great parking and only a 10 minute drive to the centre of town. Would definitely stay there again. Florent at Reception was exceptionally helpful. Thank you so much.

Novotel Pont de l' Arc is an ideal location for car based roaming of Provence and Cote de Azure, as it has been for our family for three decades. It has direct motorway access, easy off street parking, is 10 minutes from the center of Aix and close to a full range of local food and support services. Room, breakfast, pool etc set a standard that is rarely met elsewhere at the same price level.

Liked the outside garden and common areas. Good small restaurant and nice breakfast. Very nice accommodating staff.

Rooms outdated. Terrible pillows and the shower had an awful septic smell. I had to keep the door shut to the bathroom.

Hotel was ok, we stayed only 1 night. There was a slight confusion on arrival regarding the position of the hotel because google maps and waze show it is a lot before its real position so we had problems communicating with hotel since the number shown is their central number and nobody replied. We thought that we came to wrong place especially bc neighborhood is somehow out of center and close to speed road, there was a Circus and not so many people arroud so it is easy to conlcude you are at the wrong place. However just 5 minutes forward we found it. To get to center of Aix the best is to leave car at the hotel parking and take Uber or Taxi. It is just 10 minutes away from the center.

    Everything was ok.

Comfortable rooms, pool fantastic in the hot weather. Beautiful garden for evening relaxation

Not a problem for us but it is a distance from the centre of the town and limited buses on the weekend. But the bonus is the calm and quiet atmosphere

I liked the location as a place and easy parking, I liked all the staff, very clean and relaxing place to be.

My fault, I didn’t realise out of town so I was disappointed with myself.

When we travel by car as a family, we often stay at Novotel hotels. They’re conveniently located, and it’s also very practical that they offer electric car charging stations on their premises.

When we travel by car as a family, we often choose to stay at Novotel hotels. We appreciate their convenient locations and the fact that many of them offer electric vehicle charging stations, which is very practical for us.However, this time we experienced a situation that left us with very unpleasant feelings. We booked our stay with half board, which included breakfast and dinner. When we arrived at the restaurant for dinner, we asked the staff what was included in the half-board package. We were clearly told that we could choose one starter, one main course, and one dessert per person from the menu, and that drinks were not included and had to be paid separately. We accepted that, placed our orders accordingly, had our dinner, and paid for the drinks. The next morning, we checked out. A €150 deposit had been taken at check-in, and upon departure, we paid the city tax and were informed that the deposit would be refunded. However, later that evening, I received a message from the reception saying we had to pay an additional €128 for the dinner. I responded, asking why — as we had already paid for half board. We had followed exactly what the staff explained, ordered accordingly, and paid for the extras. It was very upsetting to be told, after checking out, that we now owed more money for a dinner that was supposedly already included. In the end, my €150 deposit was not refunded — meaning I ended up paying €150 instead of €128. This felt dishonest and very disappointing. We had trusted the staff’s explanation, acted in good faith, and now feel like we were unfairly charged. This experience has unfortunately affected our trust in the brand — and we truly hope this is not representative of Novotel’s usual standard of hospitality.

Easy access to and from Aix and highways to travel to various locations. It is way better to stay at the Novotel than in Aix or any town or city nearby if you intend to visit villages and see lavender fields.

The dinners at the hotel were mediocre and the chef needs to kick up his cooking skills a lot. We really needed to eat dinner at the hotel a few nights so we had hoped French cuisine there would be delicious. The pork tenderloin was dry and old. The pool wasn’t that attractive but good to be in and it was clean.

Great service by the staff and comfy beds and spacious & clean room. Worth the value.

Their breakfast particularly for vegetarians, didn't have many options and it was not worth the 19 Euros per adult.

I loved how close we were to the town, only a 5 min drive. Great value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Room was modern and newly updated.

Everything was great except the hard pillows.

The hotel has a beautiful terrace with a lovely restaurant and bar. There is also a really nice pool. The room was modern and very clean
