    Pros +

    • Location is excellent. Very close to art galleries we wanted to visit. Very close to city centre. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful- eggs, cheese, meats, many breads, excellent coffee. They provided many gluten-free breads for my husband.l
    • This is a charming hotel that is pretty convenient to everything, at least for me. The architecture is historic looking, yet the room and bathroom were very modern and comfortable. It was cold, but the heat was great. I had a single room, and it was small, but I was not bothered at all. After all, I wasn't spending my time in Aix in my hotel room. I did not have breakfast there, although now I wish I had because the lounge where it was, was very charming also. The staff were excellent, very helpful, always smiling. It was also an easy walk to the train station, and really everything I wanted to see. Great restaurants nearby, within a 5-10 minute walk, not far from the tourist center which I liked because, yes, I'm a tourist, and good shops within walking distance, too. Wifi was good, I was able to watch some videos. highly recommend this hotel and if I ever go back to Aix again, I would definitely stay there!

    Cons -

    • The drain in the shower was very, very slow so there was a flood after each shower. The electrical plugs in the room seemed loose. Not one plug in the room would hold the hairdryer but the plugs did hold our iPhone chargers??
    • Can't think of a thing. Well, maybe they could offer aperitifs in the late afternoon when the weather is cold, like it was when I was there.

Friendly staff, easy walk from train station and to all sights.

My room faced what I thought was a quiet street. But people were outside screaming right below me all night long. Made for a sleepless stay.

A beautiful little authentic hotel. Rooms were small but this is clearly stated in the description. Staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was just what we needed for a day of exploring. Thank you for a lovely end to our mother daughter holiday.

    Absolutely nothing !

The hotel is in an excellent location in Aix, quiet but central. I was impressed by the comfortable bed, the bathroom and the general cleanliness. The staff were friendly.

It is normal that rooms in historic buildings can be small, but my room was really tiny, just about the space to move around the bed, with a small table squeezed in. It was also quite noisy, I could hear people in other rooms and in the stairwell.

    9JasonPosted on: 10-22-2025

The hotel was very sweet and just what we were looking for. Location was excellent, so close to everything. The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was a great experience and really well priced (15 euro) considering every other hotel we stayed charged 50 euros per person which works out to $89.00 AUS each.

Our room was street level and we had a lot of street noise, people yelling and fighting at 2:00am and 3:00am. There are double glazed windows which we had one open for air and I was too tired to close it.

    Central location

Hard bed, noisy, not at all like the pictures

    7SusanPosted on: 10-14-2025

Location was brilliantSome nice decorative touches (but not consistent)

Tepid welcome by the staffArriving as bags of dirty laundry were being thrown down the stairs towards me. Lack of attention to detail e.g. only 2 tissues left in the box

This hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood in the city centre, with everything you need in walking distance. Clean and charming room. Staff were great with a request to remove perfumes products due to an allergy.

It is a small room, but has mostly everything you need. I was surprised though that on booking the specific information for our room stated that an airconditioning is present, when we couldn't find an airco in the room in fact. The weather was cool enough not to need it at this time of year, but this is something to take into account for people travelling in the heat of summer and maybe for Booking.com to look at..

Location is great. Tiny but perfect rooms. Charming decor. Excellent staff

This is a charming hotel close to the market. Rooms were cozy and cute. Breakfast was lovely in a quaint parlor.

Guests should be aware there are no rooms on the main level & also no elevator.

We had a very nice stay during our honey moon in Provence. The staff was very kind and the room was clean and cozy. We also loved the breakfast. The position was perfect: in the city center but at the same time very quite.

    10ChristinePosted on: 9-30-2025

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very helpful young man on reception. The hotel is situated in the beautiful Mazarin Quarter, and breakfast in the elegant breakfast room was lovely.

    8LindaPosted on: 9-15-2025

Great location, very nice room on the top floor. The staff were very friendly and it was quiet despite being so centrally located. The room is very small but utterly charming. The bed is exceptionally comfy and the shower is powerful. There is water provided in the room too.

There is no parking and the car park nearby is €20 per day. We managed to park on the road so ok after all. There is no lift and there are 57 steps to the top floor. Not a problem for us but could bother others. Those things aside I would definitely return. It’s a great place to stay in Aix.

    9PamPosted on: 9-14-2025

Good location. Rooms were comfortable albeit tiny as informed.

Little mix up with reservation, but was ultimately accommodated as promised. And that’s what counts!

    10MichaelPosted on: 9-5-2025

Great location, very close to Cezanne museum, the beautiful main promenade and all the shops and restaurants. Staff are super friendly and responsive. Room is small but that's normal in France, but bed is comfortable, room is clean and quiet, and amenities are great.

Great location, pleasant room, good breakfast selection.

    8JeffPosted on: 8-15-2025

The hotel in in a great location within easy walking g distance of all the main sights but on a quiet street. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The room was small but we were aware of this and thisnis to be expected in a city centre hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience and I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay and had nothing to complain about

    9JessicaPosted on: 8-1-2025

This property was very quaint and decorated lovely. The amenities in the room were of high quality. They have done a great job maximizing space in this small footprint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the continental breakfast was very good with plenty of options.

This property is quite small so the foyer and bedrooms were a bit cramped. Parking is a good distance away making it difficult to grab anything you may have forgot to take up to your room.
