Hotel Firenze e Continentale

Only a two minute walk from the train station & very easy to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Great place to stay if you want to enjoy La Spezia, or take a short train ride to Cinque Terre. Rooms had robes and slippers, and the bathroom was incredible. We had a spacious room and a very classy feel to the hotel. Seems like it is meant for a bit of an older crowd.

It was pretty pricy for the value in my opinion (not really any extra amenities, breakfast was not included), but we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Close to the train, friendly staff, excellent on site restaurant. The room was large clean and we had a nice balcony.

They did not specify that air conditioning can be only used during summer, we need to open the window of our room just to make the room cold and itsssss soooo noisy outside, having a hard time to sleepAlso internet in the hotel is not working properly, also during check out they asked us to withdraw outside because they have an internet problem and cant process the payment through card.

The ideal location for those who want to discover Quince Terre: close to the train station, just about 50 meters away, and also conveniently close to La Spezia city center and all city infrastructure.Very clean rooms and excellent room service.Great breakfast!

There was an issue with the water in the shower. I hope the stuff resolved that.

Maybe 50m to the train station. Close to the city center and lots of restaurants. Nice clean, modern rooms and bathrooms. A safe in the closet. Clean and well equipped gym. Excellent breakfast buffet. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Complicated and limited car parking. Small bathroom. Small elevator, only for 2 persons so if you have many luggages, it will take a while to go to your room

The hotel’s location was great—just a few steps from the train station with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The room was soundproof, clean, modern, bright, and comfortable. Breakfast offered a nice variety in a beautiful dining area. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel.

Facilities were clean and modern. Staff were exceptional! Food at the restaurant was excellent.The location, near the train station, was perfect as we were traveling by train.

The restaurant here is fantastic!! I highly suggest it. Not a large selection on the menu, but everything we had was great. Great service.Room was nice. Shower was very tiny. Towels seem to be giant in Italy, which I love!Location is great! A long walk to the water, but short walk to many shops and restaurants.

I booked this accommodation for the close proximity to the train as we were here for two nights and visiting Cinque Terre the next day. This is an older hotel which is reflected in the room, the small bathroom, and smaller elevator. But, don't get me wrong! We appreciated that elevator! The breakfast was not included in our room cost, but is well worth the cost of $18 pp. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Having arrived late at night and famished from our difficult train ride, we weren't able to at least have a drink and app at the bar as they close at 11. We were in a sketchy part if the city looking for something open and ended up at a less than suitable place. I guess we weren't prepared for this as Verona, our previous stop, was open and fun much later in the night! One very helpful piece information is to book your train departure in advance of leaving this city. We were fortunate to work out trains, but had super early and all day travel, to reach Florence on our day of check-in.

The breakfast buffet was perfect.

The room floor was not clean. Under the bed was even worse. Even after mentioning it twice and being said that someone will take care of it.

Excellent location across from the train station for easy access to cinque terre. Most Staff were friendly and professional. Older historical building so elevator is very small.

Room size was very tight. Bathroom was very narrow. Toilet bowl arrangement did not allow for comfortable leg room.

There was an issue with our air conditioning, where it couldn’t be turned off and it was cold in the room. But we covered the vent with a towel and that worked.

Great location for catching the train to Cinque Terre or/and the ferry to Portovenere. The hotel is a short walk to restaurants and down to the harbour. The Terminus Cafe connected to the hotel has great food. We had a lovely meal with excellent service.

The lobby, restaurant and breakfast area are very nice but our room was dated.

The breakfast room was fabulous. It was beautiful and had everything on it that you'd want. It far exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable and the beds were nice too.

It was nice that parking was available but it was around the corner, down a hill, through a huge door and the spots were very tight. It was extremely hard to get in and out of the parking spots and the garage in general. It took a long time and a lot of backing up and coaching to get in and out of the parking.
