Nautilus Hotel

It was close to the pier and downtown shopping/restaurant area in La Spezia.

The staff did not seem readily available all the time and the internet was not very good. The city is not easy to get around via public transportation so having more help would have been appreciated.

Check-in was easy after a few texts with the hotel staff. The room had great air conditioning and the beds were comfortable. I slept well at the Nautilus. Definitely a solid place to spend the night.

The breakfast was good, but the dining area feels super cramped.

This is a nice property in La Spezia. It’s not too far from the central station. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was good, very close to bus stops that take you to the two different La Spezia Central station where you can take the Cinque Terre train. I loved that there was a smart tv with Netflix and there’s a really good pizza restaurant right across the street as well as a mini market a block away. It’s an older building but the value is worth it for what you pay! I would definitely recommend it for those who are looking for a night or two to see the La Spezia/Cinque Terre areas. Very small detail but the shower pressure was really good so that was nice!

The upstairs neighbors were very very loud late at night and it was difficult to sleep. Also the lights in the halfway turn off if it doesn’t detect movement so a lot of the times the hallway was pitch black. I would suggest the hotel to change the light system so that there can be more luminance in the hallways especially since the bathrooms are outside of the room.

The room was good, a basic room with two twin beds. The bathroom was a bit outdated and needed some work specifically in the shower as there was a bit of mold. The owners were great and the check in was even better! It was the first stop in our vacation and we were able to check in at 11am.

The property is quite far from everything. It was about a 25 mins walk into the center and a 30 mins walk from the train station.

The room was new and very clean. We arrived after checking time but got message how to get to the hotel and found it very easy. Staff is very nice and helpful

The hotel is not close to train station, use a taxi. Don’t use bus, it’s the worst experience.Cleaning lady sprayed air freshener in the bed and the smell was so strong that was impossible to sleep

Cheap breakfast , relatively close to the city center ( 15 min walk ) .. clean and close ? italian restaurants/ bars downstairs.

3pm you can no longer find any responsable from the hotel. The check-in was easy , all instructions were given, but we were missing clean towels in a primarily swimming city.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The Hotel is situated close to the station in order to catch a train to Cinque Terra. Its a great location for a 1 or 2 night stay.

The place was very clean. There were 2 complementary bottles of water for us in the minibar.

The owner/manager yelling to her employee in the hallway at 8 in the morning right next to you in the hallway, the bathroom outside the room, the breakfast.

No elevator , old shower with mold stains around it, noise from room upstairs, big green light at the room all night . It was Easter so I understand the price was more than usual , but breakfast was not included and the room did not feel like good value for money .

This is my second time in a row. I love this hotel so much ?. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is close to the port. There are 2 big supermarkets near the hotel. The bus station is 2 min walking. Everything is great. Greetings and hope to see you again ?

The staff provided exceptional service and warm hospitality. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with amenities like a kettle, an assortment of tea bags, biscuits, a convenient hairdryer, a functional sink, and a shower. I opted for a room without a bathroom, and to my pleasant surprise, the adjacent room was the bathroom, making it a seamless and comfortable experience.

The Nautilus Hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The rooms and amenities are basic, but the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located (the train station is easily accessible by bus) - and the hotel manager was wonderful! My friend and I had trouble finding a taxi the day we left, and she and her husband were so kind in helping us. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable home base from which to explore the Cinque Terre.
