Pros +
- The staff was friendly. And excellent laundry service. We used the hotel as a base to visit the Cinque Terre and were pleased that it was in a quiet area of La Spezia in the hills.
- Exceptional customer service, great price, excellent breakfast, and well-decorated common area.
- The super helpful staff and the mom-and-pop feeling of this hotel
Cons -
- The area was quiet, but the hotel's only drawback is that it could be a bit noisy in the morning with other guests coming and going and making noise with the heavy security door.
- The shower stall was approximately 60 cm by 60 cm. It was quite cramped for me (a somewhat muscular guy approximately 184 cm tall). I could barely wash my calves. All of the torta were way too sweet, and I say this as a person who loves sweet foods. All of the other breakfast items were delicious.
- the drive to the hotel. Not far from La Spezia, but a little hilly.

the drive to the hotel. Not far from La Spezia, but a little hilly.
Location away from the noise but within a short driving distance to the train station.
2 very small showers in one room instead of one decent size.
The staff was helpful in many ways, with tourist questions. Helping us with our luggage in raining weather.
Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent breakfast ! The Eggs in the breakfast was amazing ! Home made, l gold color, amazing taste. The rooms was warm, excellent Wi-Fi and free and safe parking. Best choice in La Spezia !!!
The breakfast was fantastic. The lady who ran the breakfast buffet certainly knew how to do it. She deserves full credit for the standard of delivery.
Hotel did not offer an evening meal and that was dissapointing.
the disposal of the reception staff, especially in the morning and afternoon shift.
The cleaning left to be desired. had insects in the bedroom and bathroom. the shower was unbelievably small. it was impossible to close the box and turn in the box. the water was hot, but impossible to take a relaxing bath.
Lovely, friendly hotel. Great parking on site. Good quality breakfast. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, organising restaurant for us to eat and serving us in the bar.
Room was a little sparse, no kettle
The staff at the hotel were excellent. Always very helpful and informative. Parking space is plentiful and easy to use. The location of the hotel is sort of isolated but if you're travelling with a car, it's a good spot to visit nearby spots daily. Calm and quiet area if you're looking for some peace. A couple of decent restaurants nearby. The room was clean and the breakfast staff were great.
The bathroom of our room was tiny. The shower was uncomfortably close to the toilet and the toilet itself was so narrow that my knees would touch the wall (I'm 1.90m tall). The breakfast was adequate but limited if you're on a plant based diet like us. Not much to do around the hotel.
Room was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety. The cappucIno was excellent (from Dr coffee machine). The front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable.
You need to take a cab or local bus to get to the train station.
Very confortable and quiet which was important to us . It’s proximity to town and the availability of public transport steps from the hotel were a big plus. The front desk staff especially Silvia, were exceptional.
Staff was very good, spotless and clean
There are no power outlets on the bedside to charge the mobile phones
they sell shacchetra at a reasonable price! just one selection but if u forgot to purchase in cinque terre, a good place to still try!
location is a bit further away from the center
We had an amazing breakfast with a perfect combination of fruits and homemade pastries :). The location is wonderful, situated up the hill yet close to the center (note that car access is necessary). Parking is super easy and always available, right in front of the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly, providing great advice for our visit to the Cinque Terre. They speak several languages. You wake up to the sound of birds singing—truly a great place to relax and disconnect.
Maybe more sockets in the room ?. If you update a bit the bed quilt set would bring more light to the room .
Breakfast was good, room was small but good value for money. Location was great as we could take local bus to the train station and to the port and go to Cinque Terre daily.
Add more vegetable options at the breakfast like spinach crossant etc
The place is very beautiful, the hotel is tidy, the staff is nice, breakfast - there is not much choice, but tasty
The hotel is located on the hill, about 10 minutes drive from La Spezia and offers free on-site parking, which was - as I was traveling by car - an important factor.I've been traveling for about 30 years, and I have never met hotel staff being so kind, helpful and efficient as in this hotel. One night there was a soccer game in La Spezia, which I was not aware of, and all the restaurants in the town and close by were booked, even food delivery was extremely slow (about 1,5-2 hours waiting time). When it seemed that I will be left with no dinner that evening, the lady at the reception went above and beyond to help me find a place to eat, and she even offered to share her own dinner with me!!!!! ?
There is nothing to complain about. Only some tiny, unimportant details:I got the last available room, a room for 3. The interior is very simply, a little outdated, the bathroom is tiny, cramped (hard to imagine 3 people sharing), but the bed is comfortable, and to me that's what matters. The room has a large, sunny terrace that is shared with the gust of the other rooms.Breakfast is good, although it would be nice to see some other options than the usual sweet Italian breakfast, e.g. some fresh greens (tomato, lettuce, etc.), scrambled eggs, etc.
Always a friendly welcome from the manager didn’t catch his name . Nice and clean hotel with great views over La Spezia.
The receptionist was very helpful with upgrading my room and providing information on bus times, restaurants, and hiking routes for the Cinque Terre.
Some of the other guests were quite noisy but that is hardly the fault of the hotel
