- The room did not have enough storage space for a two person clothes. Few extra hooks would have made a difference.

Fantastic location and a very welcoming and helpful host.
The accessible bathroom would be easier to use with grab rails for the toilet and a lower toilet without the cutout in the bowl.
It was in a location that suited us. Not in the middle of central part of the city, but the area offered much more. Close to Marina, naval museum, and boat tours. Plus the restaurants and shops, in my view exceed those in the centrum. Really like the proprietor and his staff they were always friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed breakfast, very traditional. Highly recommend.
The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was vert nice and abundant. Location was great, with restaurants and shops at your doorstep. The train station was an easy walk of 15 minutes.
Nothing I can think of. If anything, I wish the hotel had a washing machine, but there was a laundry place nearby, so no big deal.
Good location, nice common spaces, and very friendly and welcoming host.
The bathroom smelled pretty bad. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t say anything to the host. For what it’s worth, I’m entirely confident he would have done what he could to make it better.
Great stay in the center of La Spezia. Close to the harbour. We used a double room for the family (communicating rooms) in Albergo delle Spezie.Reception was great, with lot of instructions before arrival (parking, ...). Breakfast was great, on the sunny terras at the back of the hotel. The hotel has a nice atmosphere: a lot of original (recycled) elements in the building of the furniture.
Location was great. Close to Porto MirabellaIt was clean and provided everything we needed for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious
Parking is a problem in the whole area. So not specific to this stay. Have to take your time to figure that all out.
The room and the staff. The breakfast was awesome, the location was good.
The AC's being behind a paywal, I really don't like that. You can be all the eco-friendly that you want, but I don't agree with that decision. Furthermore, because the reception is open only 'till 20hs, so you cannot even ask for it on after that.
location was great. 10 minute walk from train station and 2 minute walk to ferries
Nothing, terrible owner
STAY AWAY! The attention was horrible, worst experience ever because of the owner. We called Albergo delle Spezie to let them know that we will be arriving late because our train had some issues, by the phone he already responded in an unfriendly manner and had zero comprehension for our situation. Finally we agreed that as long as we arrived before 10pm he would allow us to do the checkin. We arrived before the agreed time but while doing the check-in, the owner had an anger attack and kicked us out yelling to us, which we believe is an unacceptable treatment. He even warned us that everything will be booked that night and that we will not have a place to stay which gave us even more anxiety. At some point we felt that he was discriminating us for our nationality because he mentioned in a derogatory manner that he will not host Mexicans. So please stay away if you do not want to ruin your trip by a man who doesn’t know how to contain himself and is rude.
The hotel had a very friendly atmosphere, staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots to choice. The location was excellent, with loads of restaurants and shops nearby and it was a short walk to the harbour. It was about 15 minutes walk to the railway station. We enjoyed a swim at a nice quiet beach at San Terenzo that we got to by bus from the harbour.
It was all good.
Location near the ferry boats to Cinque Terre, in the central historic district. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly reception by the host.15 Euro taxi ride to hotel from train station.Easy walk to and from train station through historic town center.
While it is rated as a 3 star hotel, there is no reception on the ground floor as one might expect. You will have to buzz them and go to the 1st floor, where you will check in. Breakfast is served by trays instead of buffet style. While the items on the trays are quite plentiful, It would be better if they laid out the food on a counter and allowed guests to choose what they would like to eat. If one orders an Americano, one gets an instant coffee. A Cappuccino is served with cold milk. The owner/manager should invest in a decent coffee maker to be able to serve a decent espresso, cappuccino, latte, or americano for breakfast. They will make you a ham and cheese sandwich at breakfast if requested, which was a plus.
Nice breakfast, local products, eco friendly, location, staff
Clean, easy check in, Julia was fantastic
I loved the effort.they made to make the stay welcoming and eco friendly. Location was brilliant, right in the heart of La Spetzia and the showers were excellent I loved the upcycled furniture. Very clever and inspirational.
The location was great and easy to find. The room was very comfortable and the yummy breakfast was a bonus!
Charming hotel, excellent location and excellent staff! Room was clean and had everything I would want. Breakfast was great. Host recommended a great pizza place too! Hopefully see you again soon.
The property had everything I needed.
Service was amazing and layout was beautiful. Centralized near all the shops and restaurants and near the port for the ferries. Our host was very helpful with suggestions to what to do around the city. A very pleasant person to talk to
