Pros +
- Pleasant property with very artfully decorated lobby and restaurant. The highlights for me were the friendly and caring staff and the food at the restaurant Doka. Every person we interacted with treated us with patience and thoughtfulness - felt like service at the four seasons. Additionally, the food at the restaurant was great!
- We had an unforgettable stay here. The staff were truly exceptional, warm, caring, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. They made us feel at home from the first moment. The apartment is beautiful and full of authentic character, both inside and outside. It’s definitely worth choosing a room with a sea view, waking up, opening the window, and seeing the sea is just perfect. The location is great with a bus stop right in front and by car also easy to reach. The breakfast is excellent, You can sit and eat in several lovely spots, in the cozy little garden, inside the charming dining area, or in front of the apartment, each with its own atmosphere. Some of the evenings the place turns into a fine dining restaurant where you can enjoy unique and delicious dishes. It's a must!
- The breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Every day we were so pleasantly surprised and felt like we were dining at an expensive restaurant! The host was incredibly helpful, and provided us with a plethora of recommendations of things to do, see, and restaurants. The drive was beautiful, and the view from the hotel is stunning.

- There is no guaranteed parking available at the hotel, and the beach was a 20-25 minute walk downhill and was not the most accessible. You definitely need a car if you plan on going outside of the town. If you have an early/late flight, be mindful that the roads to/from the hotel are very mountainous and difficult to drive. There are no street lights and very thin roads - best to drive during daylight hours!
- The hotel is fairly far out on a twisty road, and parking could be difficult sometimes, but those are small issues compared to the otherwise very pleasant stay.

Charming small hotel, more like a bed and breakfast, with great staff and excellent custom meals prepared according to our sometimes challenging dietary needs (vegan and gluten free) by owner, chef, and friendly host, Antonio. The view is beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable we want one like it at home.
The hotel is fairly far out on a twisty road, and parking could be difficult sometimes, but those are small issues compared to the otherwise very pleasant stay.
Great room, absolutely amazing breakfast
Limited parking, Felt being ignored by the staff.
It’s super cute and the staff is very nice and helpful. Best breakfast ever - and dinner too!!!! So beautiful and delicious and always fresh prepared for you.
It’s poorly soundproof, you can’t close the doors properly and I hit my head x-times at the slanted ceiling. But since it’s a heritage building, none of the above can be solved. So we decided just to love it ?
Very delicious breakfast, location is perfect. The hotel is opposite the sea, the view is amazing, city is quiet. I also loved the quilt and pillows, so comfortable. The hotel is very cosy.
Beautiful traditional building and a view of the sea from our room. The staff are so lovely. Everything very relaxed and nice.
Breakfast was a highlight, everyone is very welcoming and the location is fantastic. They open the restaurant for dinner once or twice a week, do not miss it!
Very cute house in a great spot (right next to bus stop) in the lovely village of Banyalbufar. Very nice owners serving us amazing original breakfast every morning.
Few minor things: The room door isn’t very soundproof so you can hear what’s happening in the house (and supposedly others can hear you). The water pressure isn’t great but the water is nice and warm. The shower design means that the bathroom becomes flooded no matter what you do.
We really enjoyed our stay in Can Busquets. The location of the hotel is good, very cozy room and comfortable bed and the breakfast was just amazing. Thank you

Super friendly staff, family like feeling, beautiful view and lovely village, delicious breakfast
Hilly and hence you should be comfortable driving small curvy streets, which is necessary because there are not many options in the cute villages to eat (during our season)
everything but our bathroom
bathroom was in poor working status - shower head/pressure were broken and poor - shower leaked all over bathroom floor and toilet flusher was broken such that you had to jiggle like crazy to get it to not run.
Excellent breakfast- best hotel breakfast I have had and very unique. Food excellent in the restaurant in the evening too.
Minor points for improvement- better toiletries in bathroom e.g. shampoo and and conditioner. Perhaps some more rugs etc to muffle the noise. It is an old building and some of the guests were very noisy when we stayed. But these are minor. It was excellent and I would definitely stay again.
Cosy, Clean, Nice view.
Hosts have created a lovely place to stay in a lovely village and surrounding area. Good communication, good facilities, very comfortable bed, interesting, tasty breakfasts. Honestly bar at reasonable prices. Evening meal delicious and homemade. Not huge choice, but we enjoyed what we had very much. Small number of restaurants in village, made choosing easy!
Be prepared for windy roads to get here, but worth the journey. Hubby found the continual background music a bit annoying, but it didn't bother me!
Number one is the people, from Chris who served us breakfast and helped us improve our Spanish, Antonio who wears many hats, being owner/manager, chef, general problem solver etc through to Sergio, occasional waiter who entertained us with his terrible English (almost as bad as our terrible Spanish!) I don't think our experience would have been the same without such a personable bunch of people. Second, the setting is magnificent. Each morning we woke to a beautiful view of the hillside below us and the sea, each evening we were treated to beautiful sunsets (we were lucky with the weather). Third, the three-course breakfast - not some generic attempt to keep the English visitors happy - no, a fusion of continental and Mediterranean food that kept us guessing each day as what would appear. The restaurant food in the evening was excellent - full of flavour and beautifully cooked. We chose to eat there twice, but also wanted to try other restaurants in the area.We also like Banyalbufar itself - we were looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday and this village was perfect for that. Enough shops and cafes to mean we could stay where we were, excellent buses for when we wanted to explore (we did also hire a Vespa for a couple of days to go further afield). The hotel is small and simple, a bit like a B&B but with housekeeping every day, and for me, that was a plus. For example, our room in the attic had limited headroom on one side of the bed - I got used to it and loved the tiny window in the eaves, but my poor husband repeatedly banged his head.
The bed was very firm - Antonio arranged an extra duvet to use as padding, which helped. The noise levels at times - the hotel is on the main road through the village, which means traffic noise first thing. Also, it's an old building and the doors are thin. The mosquitoes - not the hotel's fault, and it was our choice to open the windows instead of using the air-con.
The hotel is beautiful and charming, same as the village, the staff is lovely, the breakfast is amazing, the location is not the best for going to the beach, but with a bit of hiking you can reach amazing and secluded rocky beaches, or with 50min drive you can reach sandy beaches
The shower had little water, but other than that room was all very comfortable, lots of space and bed was comfortable
Amazing breakfast and even better dinner, staff super friendly and helpful - wonderful charming little gem
We had the room above the kitchen so it was a bit noisy at evenings. Low water pressure/ few water running in the shower
Beautiful seaside hotel. Both breakfast and dinner were AMAZING with exceptional staff and a seamless check in and check out. Such a great location - in a great little town with a BEAUTIFUL beach a small walk away. I’ll definitely be back!
