Hotel Playa de Camariñas

Nice modern hotel. Very good breakfast. Most helpful staff. Walkable distance to the main town.

Modern design, however the lights are too bright and I couldn't see how to dim them. This is a very minor complain....

The view from the deck across to the beach really lovely - a great position. Nice space dowstairs at the bar area for a drink.

This room was rather 'tired'. The basin shifted if you leant over it, and the fridge was unplugged and closed, so a little smelly and not giving us any cold storage in the hot weather. The spa sounds like a nice idea, but it is not at all practical - the taps to turn on water/adjust heat are out of reach, so you need to stand in the spa while regulating heat. Not very safe and positioning makes showering rather impossible. Also, the panel at the end of the spa had fallen off and been taped back on! This left a raw, sharp edge exposed which my wife cut her leg on. The whole toilet/bath/shower/basin area needs re-doing.

A lovely location and really comfortable apartment. We originally booked 2 hotel rooms for our family of 4 and because the apartment was available they gave it to us instead which was so kind. It is a newly renovated apartment with a gorgeous little terrace with views of the bay. Had everything we needed and very stylish and cosy.

Clean room and friendly, hospitable front desk staff. Best cold breakfast I've ever had, with the most variety. Restaurant was great in general.

The sliding door to the bathroom left a gap and doesn't close completely, leaving you without any privacy. Our fridge and safe box were broken, although they did fid a work around for the safe box. More of a family place, meaning for families with children, than for couples.

LED lights on balcony left on all night. Even with the blinds closed, there was too much light in the room.Fake grass on balcony did not dry out during dry periods, so it was unpleasant and carried wet into the room.

Hotel restaurant was very good and also provided a fabulous breakfast. The terrace was a lovely place to have a drink and relax looking out at the beach.

Lovely location, and Paula and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very clean, rooms were well setup, a superb (top rated) restaurant onsite that catered well to vegetarians while serving some of the most impressive seafood in the world. 10 mins walk to the township. A very restful and wonderful stay.

We had booked the suite room with terrace with transats and view on the beach. Very nice. Room very clean. Very good breakfast. Possibility to dinner in the evening in front of the beach. Very good service.

lovely hotel with bar/restaurant. It is a walk away from the town and the hotel does not have any lifts/ elevators. I was on the third floor and it was a bit of a pain carrying my 10kg backpack on the first and last day (just finished the Camino) but other than that it was fine. Really enjoyed my stay here. Great service in both hotel and restaurant

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. The restaurant is also exceptional with fresh sea food caught locally and beautifully cooked. Staff really helpful and friendly. Couldn’t fault it.

Nice hotel located on quiet beach. Small but comfortable room. Friendly staff. Great restaurant: taste the delicious parrilla de mariscos!

Staff was incredibly friendly, the room had an amazing view and the restaurant food was brilliant! The beach is just a few steps away and it's very peaceful. There's not much to do besides going to the beach, but you can grab the car and visit nearby cities.

Our room was in the third floor and there is no lift. With two kids it can be a challenge sometimes. The beach looks somewhat abandoned and has some trash in the sand.

The shower in the bath. The shower designed to be used while lying in the bath. Challenge to stand up and shower. Didnt like toilet or bath set up. No elevator so on 3rd floor pack light and dont take suitcases. Coffee machine also didn't work. Location is not ideal a good 20 minutes walk to town, 40 minutes return. Ok if restaurants open at 6 most opened at 830pm.

room lovely and views to die for. very unspoilt and full of local interest. Not touristy.
