Manena Hostel Genova

Very well run and clean, centrally located hostel, with a great free breakfast. Couldn't ask for more for the price.

The atmosphere was like home because it's an old building with high ceilings and big, wide doors. It felt like I was back home in Ukraine. It was great that breakfast was included in the price. There were always drinks, juices, and milk available to keep in the fridge. The bathroom was clean. There was a large desk in a quiet room, where I even managed to work for half a day. It was wonderful.

I like every thing. Maybe I was little bit nervous when I arrived to hostel by Google Maps or Organic Map (I didn't remember what app I used) I didn't understand where was enterence and I've asked people on the street to help me. Local people showed me enterence of hostel. The enterence was other side of building.

Part of the city where hostel is located is magnificent. Interior of facility is very good for a hostel type of accommodation.

Parking for my vehicle was almost impossible to find. Location of hostel is a little difficult to find, I had to ask few man from neighbor stores to help me.

Great location, informative staff, kitchen available to cook. great coffee machines to make espresso.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast had good options. The beds were very clean and so were the bathrooms. There was a common area which was nice and had books and games.

There weren't many charging ports

Very friendly staff, full of energy and enthusiasm! The rooms are clean and the breakfast is simple but yummy! You can leave your things while you walk around the city after the check out, which is very nice! Good location as well!

The smell of food in the hostel is too strong and not nice. Small room for the number of beds in it, not easy to open the dormitory room... Only 3 bathrooms for all the people

It was a very nice staying in Genova! The staff was very friendly and other travelers as well, I made a lot of friends. The location is good in Genova historic center, but it’s one hour walking from Bocadasse Beach, so be aware of that. The hostel was very clean and it was nice they offered coffee and tea anytime. The breakfast was ok, but they could have eggs for a cheap protein option. The only thing I didn’t like was locking all the bathrooms and the kitchen during some hours during the day for cleaning. They were not too strict about it, but at least one toilet should be available during the cleaning time.I really recommend the hostel, it was very nice!

The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. I truly wish I could have stayed longer—leaving was the hardest part Big up to the whole team especially Adamo & Anna ! ?

Great location..walkable distance to city attractions, mini markets, caffes and restaurants. Very friendly staff and they let you leave ur bag after checkout with no extra fees. Check out at 11 am which is very convenient. Would come back to it if I visited Genova again. Cheers.

It was a good hostel with a fair quality-price ratio. The staff were very friendly and welcoming—I really appreciate their work. The whole place has a charming hippie vibe in a positive way. At the end of the day, it is the perfect place to spend a night if you need to stay in Genova for a short period.

Everything felt a bit worn out. The bed linen was old and fragile from frequent washing—my pillowcase tore in my hands as I tried to put it on. Additionally, I was in a room with three snoring people… which is to be expected in a hostel, and there’s nothing you can do about it. But I barely got any sleep that night. Hopefully, you'll be luckier than I was!
