It had true American cold air conditioning! The bed was so comfy I didn¿t want to get up. The room was also large, as was the bathroom. The staff was very accommodating as well.

The location. Genoa¿s old town is a bit shady at night. It¿s a rabbit warren of alleyways. Get there before dark for sure.

Everything you need, helpful staff, immaculately clean, amazing breakfast!

We stayed only one night (and 1 day) in Genoa before flying home after an extended stay in Italy. The location was good for exploring the historic center of Genoa. Easy walking to restaurants and small shops, etc of old town. The room is in a no-traffic area, so parking nearby is not possible. The room is on the 4th floor with elevator access. The 24 hr desk staff (located in the building next door) is very nice... they did a perfect job of allowing us to leave our luggage before check-in time, and arraigning for a 5am airport taxi. The room is clean and comfortable. It worked well for our purposes.

Finding the room, even with GPS was a bit difficult, but then again, we're two old people.

Our room was very nice— light and airy. Very comfortable. The location is central to museums and the duomo. The staff is terrific— responsive and exceedingly helpful. We’d happily stay here again.

Location is good. Close to the promenade and restaurants. Very clean and the breakfast ? ? delicious.

The rooms has stairs to go to bed. We let the bathroom's light on to prevent falling during the nighttime if we need to go potty. Overall evening was okay.

Breakfast is fantastic with so many wonderful options to choose from... Staff is so very helpful, courteous and kind. Comfortable bed, but the highlight is the huge rain shower... You never want to get out of it. Since Google Maps doesn't work well in the city, the staff gave excellent directions to get where I needed to go.. Write on a piazza with an adorable little Basilica.Just across the square... Loved it.

That Google Maps doesn't work well in the city.But the hotel has no control over that, instead, they gave me step by step directions.When I needed it most.

The area, it's in a good location allowing people to be able to do multiple things.

A/C for their superior room was dreadful for those in the upper area. Our group that slept there felt uncomfortable due to no cooling.

The rooms are in the historical palace, so the ceiling height is enormous. The room was clean and comfortable, and with open windows the square below was making nice ambient noise.

Easy access to sites of Genoa. Clean modern bedroom. Very good breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. Overall very good value.

Should be aware that may be allocated bedroom with bed on mezzanine so would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Excellent location close to all the main attractions. Plus it is in an old beautiful building which has been renovated well.

Because I booked a room for 3 people and the 3rd person's bed was in the living room area, we did not have a sofa or desk.Also our cab driver dropped us off 100 meters from the hotel when there is a convenient place just behind the hotel.

Excellent location, a room with a medieval view

there was no desk or coffee table in the room. But the common area was adequate. The cab driver dropped us off on Garibaldi when he should have dropped us just behind the property.

Everything was excellent at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, kind and smiling; the room was very good (fantastic high ceilings); breakfast was very complete, and the location, at the heart of the old town, couldn't be better.

Super location, helpfull staff, fancy room. Exuberant breakfast. Only downside: instant coffee in the hallway.

Hotel is extremely beautiful and stuff is very nice and helpful.

In room there is no pen and piece of paper in case you need to make a note and also no extra blanket or pillow. In bathroom no body lotion, hair conditioner and proper shampoo (just 2 in 1: body wash&shampoo).

Lovely room with very high ceiling in old building. Check in is at the adjacent hotel - friendly and helpful staff - we arrived too early to check in but they looked after our luggage and it was already in our room when we came back later - much appreciated. Room was very quiet. Liked the communal lounge area for making a drink. Design of bathroom was odd because toilet was too close to the shower. Breakfast on the rooftop of the Palazzo Grille was really good. A bit tricky to find, but only a few minutes walk from the metro station.

The hotel is located in the center of Old Town in the old building. Very stylish and comfortable rooms. Parking close is not possible but it wasn't a problem for us.

A lot of strange people and prostitutes in the neighborhood...

The room was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was great close to everything in the historical center. The room was very silent and we slept very well! The staff was very service minded and we would definitely come back another time! An highly recommend stay!

Relatively small room

Top location in the middle of the old town of Genoa, good restaurants, bars and cafés within walking distance, close to the harbor. Clean, nicely furnished rooms and very friendly staff.
