Pros +
- Clean and sufficient breakfast
- We got in really late so it's unfair to judge what is around the hotel, except to say there were only a few restaurants open when we arrived. The hotel itself was like staying in a hostel. Very, very, very small rooms. We chose not to eat the breakfa
- Great location, easy access and wonderful staff
Cons -
- Team at the breakfast buffet was very accommodating, however front desk receptionist at night on Feb 27th was rude indeed. We asked for extra bedding an pillows for the sofa bed my son was using, and was told they couldn't provide any at all
- Room size, weird parking arrangement, breakfast.
- Parking was confusing, we were told one thing for the price and then charged another. When we brought this up we were told that the other employee spoke out of turn and we had to pay a higher price than the original quote.

Old Historic Charm....
Parking & Restaurant ---- BOTH UNAVAILABLE!
It was near a train station, not the main one though.
Not worthy of 4 stars. Staff were not welcoming. Didn't offer any local recommendations, just sort of threw the city map across with the room key. Then attempted to charge for breakfast saying it wasn't included in the booking but is offered free to guest
Central location and close to old town
Not enough signage in a very busy area of town that the hotel is there.
THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE AND CONFORTABLE ALL IS WALKING DISTANCE SO IS GOOD
The location is very central, I enjoyed breakfast at the beautiful cafe right next door, the historic building and the near distance to the centre and the ocean. Room was very clean, AC worked well, you have all you need.
The parking situation was expensive (public garage 48Eur for a day and a half). Also no work area was available. The room was small, view was a wall of an office building and the building is a bit run down.
The location was very convenient, near the train station and within walking distance of restaurants and tourist sights. The room was also very comfortable, with blackout curtains and shutters, plus it had air conditioning.
There was a fair amount of noise from the corridor outside my room.
Nicely refurbished older hotel conveniently located across from the Genova Brignole station. Didn’t take breakfast, so my rating is for the room only.
At the night time, nobody was in a lobby and outside I saw a young men bothering some homeless people . The same men entries , tried to take a elevator but when he saw me it started to seat on the chair. He know I saw everything outside, he told me something in Italian and he leafy
Decent midrange hotel
I chose the hotel because the descriptions of it said that it had a bar and a restaurant. This is a complete misdescription. The cafe/bar is not open after 19.30. What use is a bar that is not open in the evening? On a Sunday, it closes at 12 p.m. The Booking.com description even adds that it has a cocktail lounge. Again, that is just misinformation.
We had a spacious room with 2 beds, adequate closet and luggage space. Amenities such as the refrigerator stocked with beverages and snacks are very thoughtful. We asked for a quiet room and received one facing an interior courtyard, so we had peaceful nights. We found the front desk staff courteous and helpful. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast which is a good value. The location is perfect. Close to the train station and the bus plaza which makes it easy to see the city. Definitely recommend getting the Genoa City Pass plus the Transportation pass.
Bedside lighting could be improved. The room was dark in general. Also, although the bathroom is spacious, the shower box is very small, it was hard to shower without hitting the walls. And I'm not that large!
Reception and cleaning staff are excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed Genoa and Chiavari town. Your Hotel being opposite the train station was a bonus. Thankyou.
I think a light blanket could be left in the cupboard should you need it. I could have called reception but it was the middle of the night. I found submitting this review at the end. It would not allow me to send it. Will try again, if that fails will exit this review without sending it.
Conveniently located right across the main train station with metro stop and many bus lines.Well maintained older building with majestic old school elevator.Spatious family room where we didnot feel cramped like we often do.Wide variety of foccacia selection for breakfast!
Location, interior look, free minibar, parking available

Reception desk staff were very helpful and attentive. Hotel is very close and convenient to the train station. Just a few minutes to walk there. We loved walking around Genova. Hotel is very quiet, which is nice!
I would have liked it better if breakfast was an option to choose when booking on Booking.com. Be prepared, we were quite surprised to see that on a Friday night the restaurants and stores were closed down by 8:30 pm. We were looking for a place to eat and couldn’t find any restaurants open, and the markets were also closed. This would have been good information that the reception could have shared with us when we checked in because most of the cities in Europe we have visited start eating dinner later in the evening.
Right in front of the train station, metro station, and bus stop, making it convenient to go anywhereThere are many convenience stores, shops, cafes, and restaurants in the surrounding area, making it very convenientThe area around the hotel is safeThe rooms are very clean and well-equipped. Drinks and snacks from the minibar are free.
The safety deposit box is too small to hold a PC or documents.
Location and the bed is good.
The room was in the back so no sunlight and the smell was like the room needs more ventilation
This hotel is good, we liked it last year, so we came back this year. Old building, but clean rooms, kind staff. The location is perfect for us, close to Brignole Railway Station. So I recommend this hotel.
We were here for the second time this May and we were not lucky this time. Unfortunately we has got a very very small room this time on the second floor, it was dark and without any view; for 5 nights it was not comfortable for 2 persons. The bed was on the wall on one side. It was our bad luck, but otherwise the hotel is good, the staff is kind and the location is perfect.
