Cons -
- This is advertised as a hotel but is really nothing more than a Pensione. It was difficult to find because its signage is not what I was expecting from a hotel. It's in a building on the 4th floor, and you need to buzz the owner to get in. The owner said there was 24-hour staffing but there wasn't. The bathroom had been built into the room and was pretty basic. Shower miniscule. There was no breakfast. I needed hotel services such as a printer but the place didn't offer it. We moved out after one night.
- it’s a bit old and deserve a quick renovation
- This is not an hotel but an apartment where the owner sublets the rooms. Our room was not really cleaned. They added a super thin wood wall to separate the bathroom which was electric.

The staff was very friendly

The location, the comfort of the room and the very warm welcome from Agostino.
The bathroom is clean, but very much in need of re-grouting, better drainage and maybe a new shower tray.
The staff is nice and speak some English. The room is cleaned and tidy up every day. Location is quite near to most landmarks. AC works well
The curtains only cover 2/3 of the balcony window and the doors and walls aren't very sound proof. The fixtures are really old and need renovation. A kettle in the room or access to a kitchen area would have been nice
Staff was very nice and polite
Cheap furniture, mold on the bathroom wall ,
Right in the center of the city, and possibility for quite late check-in
The building and the elevator were a bit old
The Olympia Hotel staff were warm, helpful and welcoming people. The room was cosy and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the location in the center of Genoa was extremely convenient for two rail stations and nearness to funiculars.
The hotel is absolutely nice. The location is strategic, close to everything, including train station, markets and restaurants. The owner is a lovely person! I really appreciate his kindness.
Great location, simple, clean accommodations and a very friendly host. We'll come back.
Excellent. Close to everything, the old town, shopping in the main street of Genoa, cafes, restaurants, public transport and everything. Hotel has air con. and is very private with no noise. Owner is very friendly and helpful.
Great for a night and super helpful and friendly staff!
Not much to not like... It's a simple hotel room at a great rate.
Host and location
Price is a bit high for what is offering. Very, very basic. Parking on the street not easy to find
Staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful with a bunch it tips on what’s best to see. You absolutely get what you pay for, it’s thematic old looking family owned place where you’re very welcome to be.
Staff is very nice, location is good, close to the traim station and the centre of the city, they help me by keeping me the luggage and i had a good rest there. Also they clean the room and change everything every day.
Superb little hotel right in the heart of Genoa! The room was easily large enough for the four of us, with comfortable beds, really clean and well equipped, and the en suite bathroom was great. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, and we had no trouble checking in very late. Highly recommended!
The old host was nice enough.
This is not a hotel, it is really just a hostel with a private bathroom. The rooms all centre around a communal space and the walls are paper thin and you can hear every word the neighbours are saying along with the noise from reception. My partner and I couldn't even get 4 hours of sleep. Our room was next to the main door which has a beeping sound like a convenience store when someone enters and exits, so we were up all night. The bathroom is horrendous and is incredibly run down and mouldy with cracked tiles, I even went and bought slides for the second night. The beds were also very hard.
Good wifi, AC and beds. Friendly staff. Close to centre of town. Make sure you use Brignole train stn it's about 5 mins away.
Location is very good, staff is welcoming. The staff helped US Open the parking of the mall in the morning as it wasn’t yet open
Room is very small, no space to open the luggage no noise cancelation, you can hear other rooms. However if you need a place to crash for a short period the location is very good
