The hotel team was truly exceptional — every staff member I met was extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their positive energy created a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. The suite I stayed in was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a lovely view. In addition, the hotel’s location is charming and provides a calm and relaxing environment.

There were no major issues during my stay, but I did encounter a small inconvenience on the first night. However, the hotel handled the situation with great professionalism and offered me several compensation options, which I highly appreciated. The only other minor downside is that services and facilities around the hotel are quite limited, as the surrounding village is small and not very well serviced.

There are many things that we liked about Capitolo hotel, first one is the amazing and wonderful staff at the hotel, they were very helpful and very professional. It was a great experience, wonderful atmosphere, very nice room, very clean, amazing location

This must be one of my top 3 favourite hotels in the whole world. We loved everything about it: the design, the neighbourhood, the view, the comfortable bed, the pool area, the breakfast. I'd live in this hotel if I could, it's just perfect. Congratulations to the management and the staff.

Parking is a bit expensive to be honest.

Air condition was not working in my room, I called reception many times to solve the problem they was slow to respond and downgraded me from suite to single room after two hours from chasing them. Customer services reactive not proactive.I asked the receptionist to get me a reservation in a private beach and after 4 hours I chase him to get update, he told me the beach is full, when I called the beach by myself the told me it is available ( receptionist was lying to me).

The staff were exceptionally invested in our stay. The hotel owner introduced himself and was very aware of who we were and how we were experiencing the hotel.

The facilities are over the top. The restaurant chef is extremely sophisticated. I think we will hear a lot about him in the future.

Beautiful street, trees, hotel design, full featured spa with warmed up pool, new and modern room.

A wonderful experience: carefully selected interior design pieces that mixed together create a sense of belonging; a great chef with mouth watering creations; outdoor heated pool; extremely helpful staff. And for once a dog friendly hotel that really welcomes animals rather than “tolerate” them. The location is also great and easy to go back and forth to Genova by train.

The website images are all renders that make it looks like it’s in the countryside. It’s actually in busy road surrounded by buildings and is very small. The staff are not very helpful at all

Breakfast not acceptable for a 5stars L hotel. Zero buffet (basically just bread and croissant) and very limited cart not cooked properly.We had towels in bathroom that were dirty/used and we just got a “sorry”.49euro/day of parking the car is more than overpriced, it is unreasonable.

Brand new hotel beautifully designed hotel in super location. Everything was perfect. Lovely swim in the pool. Room was what I would expect of a 5 star hotel. Exemplary customer service from a passionate team who created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere whilst remaining professional. We will be back.

Nothing except. Parking overnight 48 euros which we felt was over the top.

Newly built hotel with great design and furniture, lovely materials in the room, great place to have a couple of very nice and relaxing days. Very friendly staff that try to create notable moments.

We had to pay 45 Euros per day for parking and where not told upfront by the staff that parking is extra cost. This was a very unpleasant surprise during checkout. The staff in a 5 star hotel always needs to inform their customers appropriately. No discount on parking costs or something similar was offered for this mistake (they parked the car outside so 45 Euros per day is hard to reason either way). Other than this, negative points are only minor and probably due to the very recent opening: Not all staff yet on 5 star level (e.g., in some situatios, you had to order 2 or 3 times during breakfast to get something as they forgot the order), breakfast is good but not exceptional, the inside relax area in the Spa is very small (outside is much bigger), this can become a problem in the winter time, no towels in the Spa area, you always had ro ask staff to get towels, the pool is only 1.14 meters deep, this is personal taste but I did not like that they played musik all day at the pool area, made it difficult to relax and read. Despite these negative points, it for sure is a great hotel and I will recommend it to friends.

It's cool, well organised, equipped to the last detail of comfort and in an excellent location a five minute walk from a dip in the Med. And even a treat pack for the dog.

Arrangements for car valet on departure was a little chaotic but the hotel was busy. Try to depart a little early or deal with your own luggage.

Friendly staff, decent room design, great food both for room service and breakfast, quiet neighborhood, dog friendly, easy access to other areas such as Portofino.

A couple of minor electric glitches with a ceiling fan, light switches, and thermostats. Considering the fact that it's a brand new hotel, I guess it's quite understandable.

It was a beautifully designed property in a lovely neighbourhood

Rooms were very small (even though we selected a premium room), it was advertised as a room with sea view but you could barely see the water, the shower and toilet were in front of a clear window so there is no privacy
