    Pros +

    • Really good location near Via Garibaldi and the high end shops.
    • Lunch at the restaurant was good
    • Great hotel. Breakfast was amazing and room was spacious.

    Cons -

    • Rooms were small but to be expected given downtown location. Breakfast was so-so. After hours good was warmed in microwave - this could be improved.
    • The rooms were a bit old fashioned and it was a smoking room. Not bad but i have a keen sende of smell.
    • I was downgraded to a single just 3 hours before arrival due to issues to their booking systems. The single room is disgraceful. Very small (I did not have room even to place my one night trolley) very outdated with very noisy AC. The breakfast was overcrowded with staff unable to clean up tables timely and guests taking possessions of table , for example mine when I went to ask for a coffee. I was asked by the housekeeper when I should leave at 10.30am when I had the do not disturb sign on and check out was 12pm. The housekeeper was not aware about when check out time was. Horrible experience, never more !

Great hotel. Breakfast was amazing and room was spacious.

The bed could have been more comfortable. Wifi experience is confusing, they did not give us a code on arrival.

Good service, friendly staff, central location.

The room was a little dusty.

The hotel provides everything one needs for a short term comfortable stay. The beds and bathroom are excellent. The location is fantastic for all sights in the old city and the Harbour. The parking is 20m away and with guarded service.

I liked the hotel's location, a pretty safe area to walk in, near the historic center, and how clean my room was.

I didn't like that you don't have direct access to the lift from the front desk, and I had heavy luggage that I had to carry up the stairs.

Wonderful location and excellent facilities — the service and staff are top-notch!We mentioned that it was my birthday, and they prepared a lovely surprise with a cake and champagne, and even upgraded our room, which made me very happy. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect location, big room with extra comfy bed, good value for money.

    Lack of parking.

From my experience in this and similar Italian hotels, NH have taken a step ahead. Decent quality and size shampoo and conditioner with dispensers in the shower and body cream plus soap at the sink so no messing around with little bottles or sachets. Bed (and pillows!) very comfortable, the room was spotless. Decent desk to work at with USB charger. The breakfast selection has also been stepped up, with a chef on hand to make an omelette and a good variety of everything else on hand. Highly recommend this hotel.

    Nothing really.

I love the NH Genova Centro. The location is very safe and you can easily get all of the main attractions in Genova. I find the staff to be welcoming, and the rooms are clean.

    There’s nothing not to like.

Location is great and safe. Hotel is clean and new. Rooms are chic.

Our room was fully dark as it was not facing the street but another apartment. We only stayed for a night so we didnt mind but i would hate it if we stayed longer. There was literally no sun coming through the window. Hotel didnt seem crowded i dont understand why they gave us this room.

I liked that the air conditioning work really good. The room was clean and comfortable.

An excellent location for where we needed to visit. Located very near the main streets but in a relatively quiet position. The room was clean, the bed comfy and all the facilties worked well. The reception was always very helpful, and the bar and restaurant gave very good service although we only had a continental breakfast which gave us all the choice we needed.

All was fine - only the parking was a bit difficult to start with and we had to park across the road that was OK.

Room was very nice. Big and spacious. Lovely terrace/balcony to sit out on.

Felt like one of the staff was a bit unhelpful when I was asking where I could fill up my water bottle. Just said "no". Then when I asked if the bar staff would fill it she said "maybe". Not very forthcoming. Was just wanting some water. No price list for the mini fridge in the room. Was not clear that you had to pay. Only had a few items in it and nothing fancy so seemed complimentary but wasn't. Didn't realize until it was too late (unless it was stated elsewhere and just didn't realize, which is possible)One of the bed covers had a yellow stain on it when we arrived.Taps in the bathroom didn't work wellWas also a very short power outage which caused issues with the water pressure, which can't be helped I suppose. Was resolved fairly quickly but was still inconvenient.

Good access to the historical center

The Staff, in fact one particular lady in the reception was really not helpful and made us park the car far away when she could have called the parking lot beside the hotel asking for a parking space for us. There are some people that really don’t want to be kind to others! That’s sad!
