Hotel Villa Moderna

This was our second time staying at Locanda Villa Moderna, Seloua and Matteo are wonderful hosts, exceptional made to order breakfast and Seloua, bake goods are amazing. Great location and accommodations, helpful suggestions on the local scene. 7 minute walk from the train station.

Everything was perfect.

The hosts were exceptionally gracious and helpful, treating the guests like invited guests to their lovely home without being at all intrusive. The area around the house is peaceful, as of now filled with the scent of honeysuckle and the songs of blackbirds. Lovely breakfast. Easy walk to the beautiful seafront promenade. Plenty of restaurants and the train station within an easy walk. For a comfortable and casual stay in a non-touristy town on a beautiful coast, one cannot do better.

Our stay at this small family hotel was simply unforgettable and easily deserves a 10/10. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel incredibly welcome. They were unbelievably helpful, providing fantastic, spot-on recommendations for everything – the best local restaurants, hidden gems to visit, and practical tips on navigating the area. Their advice truly enhanced our trip! And the breakfast... Amazing! Waking up to homemade bread and delicious cakes each morning was such a treat and the perfect start to our day. If you're looking for genuine Italian hospitality, a warm atmosphere, and expert local knowledge, look no further. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming, gave us great recommendations for the restaurants and also tips on the area, breakfast was fantastic with tasty homemade cakes. Very good location

Hosts went above and beyound. They were very flexibale, made breakfast every morning and gave amazing restaruant recommendations. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The room was also cleaned every day. The location of the hotel was excellent.

Nervi is a lovely town with a spectacular promenade and just 15 minutes from Genoa by train. Proprietors are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are exceptional.

We loved everything about our stay, with a special mention to the very nice and extremely helpful owners, and the excellent breakfast with many homemade cakes, bread, fresh eggs and many more. We would definitely return to Locanda Villa Moderna if we come back to Nervi.

Comfortable and clean room. Quiet and relaxing neighborhood.Great hosts and freshly baked breakfast. You'll love it if you have a sweet tooth like mine. Matteo's omelette *chef's kiss*Nervi promenade is amazing.

Nervi city in general has bad smells in more busy areas. Also, due to limited restaurants (good ones), it was difficult to get a table without reservation a couple of days in advance.

Just spent a week at this hidden gem and I must say the couple who run this B & B work super hard to keep it spotlessly clean! The homemade cakes & bread every morning are delicious ?. They also offer eggs & bacon. They offer you tips on how to plan your days when visiting other towns and they just make you feel really welcome in their home. It is perfectly situated in a quiet street of Nervi but close to everything. You don’t need a car you can explore everywhere by foot or train. I 100% recommend it and if we go back to this area we would 100% stay again! Thank you for a fantastic week and we hope to come back. ❤️

Upon returning from Portofino, I discovered this charming village by chance, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations and rivalled the beauty of Portofino itself.From the moment I arrived, the lovely couple managing the Locanda warmly welcomed me. Their kindness and hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable. The attention to detail in every aspect of their service was exceptional, making me feel right at home.The managing couple's impeccable hospitality and the Locanda's overall charm make it a destination I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and heartwarming stay. I look forward to returning and reliving the wonderful experience.

Beautiful room, well appointed and immaculately clean. Beautiful furniture and decor. Lovely terrace with a view. Modern and efficient bathroom. Shower with temperature control. Excellent and abundant breakfast, kind and helpful hosts. Perfect location, short walking distance from all attractions in Nervi and from train station, with access to all Ligurian coast. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was served each morning with Silwa & Matthew personally taking orders. Really nice friendly environment. The house itself is very quiet, easy walk from the train and in a very nice town that has a lovely waterfront with excellent restaurants. Our original intent was was dine in Genova but Nervi so relaxing and such a great place to return home to, we ate there each evening (excellent restaurants - they will advise based on your desire). In my opinion, Nervi is a great base for many of the surrounding towns.

There's nothing not to like. The town is great. It's a 10 min walk from train which has super easy access to Genova. The team is excellent and they really know who to run a B&B. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect location near train station, parcs & museums, comfortable and very quiet, great breakfast made to order & lots of home cooked treats, wonderful hosts.

Fabulous property. A beautiful old villa in a quiet private street.

The location is in an oasis of peace. Close to the train station and the promenade, cleanliness, exceptional hospitality, a gorgeous garden. And for breakfast, Mrs. Anna prepares tarts, cakes and homemade bread. I highly recommend this location.

Silwa’s freshly made cakes, pies, and bread were a delight. The room was well appointed and clean; the location was beautiful and only a 10 minute walk from the train station; a highlight was the balcony where we could sit and listen to the birds sing.Both Silwa and Matthew were very congenial and helpful with knowledge about the area.

A mini-fridge in our room would have been nice to keep beer and water that we bought locally.

Loved the accomadation on a private road in Nervi. Quiet , spotlessly clean , sunny garden with outside seating and wonderful home baking and cooked breakfast , bacon eggs ,waffles , focaccia and freshly baked bread. All hosted by a lovely helpful couple who spoke excellent English and who offered sightseeing advice as required. Short walk from Nervi station and prom.walk along the picturesque coast. Visited Genoa , Portofino, cinque terre and more.

Can’t think of anything bad.

A lovely villa with a spacious garden where you can spend time among flowers, a quiet location in the very center of the town, you can feel the love and effort in everything, especially in the mornings when an exceptional breakfast and excellent coffee are prepared. The owners of the villa are extremely nice people, always ready to help or give good advice. One of the best places I have ever lived in this country.
